JT Wins and Hosts the MTV Europe Awards But Kanye Makes the Most Noise
JT hosted the MTV Europe Awards last night and yes, as expected he apparently brought SexyBack. JT also won for Best Pop and Best Male Artist awards. Performances included Rihanna and Nelly Furtado while Kayne provided the most controversial part of the evening. He was pissed he lost Best Video and actually went on stage to tell everyone about his disappointment. Kanye said,
"F*ck dis! (My video) cost a million dollars, Pamela Anderson was in it, I was jumping across canyons and sh*t! If I don't win, the awards show loses credibility. Nothing against you (J&S), but hell man."

Justin Timberlake and Gnarls Barkley have emerged as the big winners at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards in Copenhagen.
JT, who also did an exemplary job as this year’s host, picked up Best Pop and the stiffly contested Best Male at tonight’s EMAs, while Gnarls bagged Best Song (for ‘Crazy’) and the Futuresounds Award recognizing the new talent with the brightest future.
Also going home clutching EMAs gold were Christina Aguilera (Female), The Killers (Rock), Kanye (Hip-Hop), Muse (Alternative), Depeche Mode (Group), Rihanna (R&B), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Album), and Justice VS Simian who won the coveted Video category with their mighty ’We Are Your Friends’. They nearly had it stolen off them by Kanye though, who jumped on-stage during their acceptance speech and said it was an outrage that he didn't get the award.

I like Kanye and his music but I agree that his ego is out of control. I don't care what he says about the president because I have no respect for Bush at all. But yeah, his ego is MASSIVE and he freaked out a few years too when Evanescene (sp?) beat him for an award.
22ha, i'm so glad he didn't win that award that he thought he *deserved* - I like his music, however seeing how caught up in himself he can be, I can honestly say that I will never buy his stuff again....I'll just burn a copy from my friends'. 24It's not an act. He's shown a consistent pattern of being a sore loser who constantly complains about not getting the accolades he thinks he so rightfully deserves. He's talented, and I really like his music, but he thinks his star is much brighter than it really is.
I actually LIKED him for his comments about Bush. So just by virtue of the fact that Bush is President, I should respect him? Bullsh*t. He's not my President (I didn't vote for him, either term), and respect is EARNED, as far as I'm concerned --especially in such high and influential a position. Kudos to Kanye for that move.

31that reali pissed me off when i herd this, i like kanye and think hes got a ton of talent but does he reali think hes the only hard worker in the industry, plus i didnt think the song or the video were that good anyway but i i hope he now sees wat a arrogant prat he was and tones it down
