Kate Moss gathered her best girlfriends together Friday and left London for a few days at the Isle of Wight Festival. The supermodel along with pals like Jade Jagger, Sadie Frost, Alison Mosshart, and Samantha Morton arrived at the music event Friday and proceeded to spend quality time together in the private Ray-Ban Room. The girls arrived in a pair of pink Hummers, which was the beginning of the fun Kate planned with a Big Fat Gypsy Wedding theme — they were also apparently wearing matching velour sweatsuits that said "Kate's Hen Do." They hit the fairground area and were driven around backstage while acts like Kings of Leon, Foo Fighters, and Iggy Pop took the stage. Somehow, they even drank a reported 120 bottles of Mahiki rum. Kate, though, stayed at her rented cottage near the grounds on Saturday for some reason. Jamie Hince, meanwhile, got his boys together for a few days in St. Tropez to let loose at the Les Caves Du Roy nightclub. He was spotted enjoying an al fresco lunch at Le Club 55 yesterday before leaving in a helicopter.
Preen's Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi have developed a collection of workwear with London tailor Gieves & Hawkes. "We wanted it to be masculine with a feminine twist, we thought it was about time we gave our Preen girl something to wear to work," said the designers.
Caroline Brown has been named president of Carolina Herrera, a position left vacant since Mario Grauso left the company to work for Vera Wang eight months ago.
And speaking of Mario Grauso, the Vera Wang president has taken on the role of columnist for Elle, as the magazine's "correspondent of chic."
Jade Jagger has signed on to update the bottle of 85-year-old Guerlain fragrance Shalimar.
Haider Ackermann is venturing into menswear and will unveil his first men's collection June 16 in Florence during the Pitti W trade show.
Lindsay Lohan ran into Boy George yesterday afternoon on her way out of a London TV studio, but last night she was out solo to host a Nokia bash at the restaurant Sketch. She joined her British party pal Jade Jagger before taking a turn at the DJ booth, though LL soon handed the reigns over to a friend. She brought a few other pals along for an afterparty at the club Jet Black and was spotted heading back to her hotel around 5 a.m. Lindsay's late nights provide even more fodder to that book she's apparently working on, and she was up bright and early this morning for a walk with a big smile on her face.

Ron Herman has an extra special, totally rockin' treat for us. It just received a fresh shipment of Jezebel by Jade Jagger. Yes! Mick's daughter is all about showing off her British pride in a non-traditional way. Like, the Union Jack is plastered over a huge lip graphic and adorned with rhinestones. There's also chunky black-and-white stripes, but my favorite is the safety pins, like the one Jade wore at a fashion party. Prices range from $98 for a tank to $205 for a dress. Check out the rest of the collection below, then get your Jezebel on.

It's been a busy week with the start of New York Fashion Week, but you better believe I've been keeping a close eye on those stylish celebs. This week's gang is mostly fancied up — George Clooney's girl Elisabetta Canalis worked the red carpet in teal blue Roberto Cavalli, Eva Mendes balanced sexy and elegant, and Penelope Cruz experimented with a new color. But in my humble opinion, Alexis Bledel stole the show in her one-shoulder Christian Siriano. I mean, between the red lips, the two-tone frock, and the red pumps, it's perfection. See who else dazzled us.

>> Now that Georgina Chapman has officially realigned herself as the designer of Marchesa, leaving Keren Craig, former co-designer, to the more business side of things, she's branching out beyond Marchesa.
Garrard, the British jewelry brand that supplied Princess Diana's engagement ring, is seeking a creative director since Jade Jagger left the post in 2007, and in the meantime, they've asked Georgina to be a guest designer. The Georgina Chapman for Garrard collection is to be unveiled next September during New York Fashion Week — no doubt accessorizing the Spring 2010 Marchesa collection — and prices are expected to run in the $10,000 to $15,000 range.
It's interesting that the collection is called "Georgina Chapman for Garrard" rather than "Marchesa for Garrard," don't you think? Especially when the company is looking for a new creative director and Garrard's CEO says Georgina's line is expected to be "a significant part of the Garrard business." Not that Georgina would leave Marchesa behind for jewelry — but it does seem like she's trying to do things more on her own without Keren.

Sportswear and summer go hand in hand. Recently we were perusing stock images of boxing uniforms at the New York Public Library as a lesson in sportswear, and it occurred to us that this particular uniform is one that could lend itself to ready to wear quite nicely. We've seen the oversized racer back tanks from the likes of Alexander Wang and Oak, but the square, baggy boxer shorts, we thought, we harder to come by. Jade Jagger, a Stella McCartney brand of fashion designer, has put out a pair of Zigzag Beaded Shorts that are right on the money. The appeal here is that these are the type of shorts that you can ride a bike in, the kind that when you sit down don't shrink to diaper-size, but, because of the beading, color, and fabric are far removed from your boyfriend's undershorts. We expect a lot of baggy shorts this season and this particular variation, free from buttons and zippers and otherwise constricting elements, is one of our favorites. Check out our spread below for some bright silks in the boxer short cut.
