Jay-Z Performs at Hammerstein Ballroom, Dedicates Song to Kanye's Deceased Mother

Last night's Jay-Z concert at Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC ended on a more somber note when he asked the audience to observe a moment of silence in honor of Donda West, Kanye's mother who passed away suddenly over the weekend. Right before performing his final song, "Roc Boys" Jay-Z said to the crowd, "Let's get serious for a minute...This show is dedicated to Kanye West who had a death in the family....We got you, Kanye. Stay strong." Despite their usually hardened exterior, it's nice to hear that deep down these guys really are sweethearts and there for each other.
