Kate Moss Kicks Off London Fashion Week With Her 3D Piece

Kate Moss was the lady of the night yesterday as her ex Jefferson Hack hosted an event in her honor at Haunch of Venison in London.

Kate Moss was the lady of the night yesterday as her ex Jefferson Hack hosted an event in her honor at Haunch of Venison in London. She teamed up with director Baillie Walsh to create a video project commissioned by Jefferson's publication, AnOther magazine, in which Kate was documented in 3D — the piece, called KM3D-1, sees Kate take on the role of Hindu goddess Kali. After the bash, Kate took off her heels and sensibly slipped into flats to leave the bash on the arm of another guy pal. The event also doubled as an unofficial launch party for London Fashion Week, which kicked off today. The action wrapped up at NYFW last night with Gwen Stefani's family-filled show. Now, stay tuned to PopSugar UK and FabSugar UK for the latest from England!

>> Yesterday, after a whirlwind romance and engagement, 26-year-old Lara Stone and 38-year-old British comedian David Walliams were married in a traditional, '40s-themed ceremony at Claridge's Hotel in London. The bride wore a $44,000 custom long corseted dress in ivory silk satin designed by Riccardo Tisci, with lace incrustations, gold chain-trimmed straps, and a matching silk crepeline cape.

Afterwards, the newlyweds and their 200 guests, including Tom Ford, Mario Testino, Anouck Lepere, Lily Donaldson, and Jefferson Hack enjoyed lobster, sea bass, and Primrose Bakery cupcakes in the hotel's ballroom, surrounded by $15,000 worth of white roses. Following the meal, the crowd decamped for the evening reception at Shoreditch House, for which Stone changed into a custom Givenchy gold minidress. The wedding was reportedly largely dry at the request of Stone, a recovering alcoholic — and the toasts were performed with popcorn in place of champagne.

Stone and Walliams are said to be honeymooning in Paris.

>> Just a couple of weeks ago, Jefferson Hack told The Business of Fashion: “The old media model is a frozen moment in time; a monthly magazine, a seasonal trend — it’s over. Digital culture is a constant stream. Either you adapt to it, or you are a dinosaur and you will die.” He added: “This is a new era of digital beauty.”

In light of his recent comments — and in efforts to put his money where his mouth is — Hack's bi-annual Another announced via statement today that Charlotte Gainsbourg is the magazine's first "Digital Cover Star," in an effort to "transform the concept of the magazine cover star for the web."

Every month, a new "Digital Cover Star" is planned »

Kate Moss sat close with her ex and daughter Lila's father Jefferson Hack at the James Hall show during London Fashion Week today. The supermodel spent the night before partying with friends at the Love Ball, but looked ready for another big night of fashion. Kate and Jefferson frequently run into each other around FW, and look friendly as ever as they checked out the line. Kate was joined by her friend and frequent vacation buddy Lily Allen, who chose to sit on a male friend's lap rather than watch the show from her own front row seat.

>> Jefferson Hack to Launch Another Title?

>> Jefferson Hack to Launch Another Title? —Yesterday, Jefferson Hack presented at the International Herald Tribune's Techno Luxury Conference in Berlin, asserting that in the future, print media won't disappear, but rather "become souvenirs of the show" — the online world.  He sees the future of magazines in portable devices, augmented reality, smart surfaces, digital paper, and says that "in the digital universe, the winners will be those that take risks . . . How do we compete for attention? We don't. We participate.  The digital revolution caught quite some of the brands napping."  Now, word comes that Hack is set to launch Another Love, a product-driven title, in February. Venice Biennale Overflowing with Fashion Figures and Their Families

>> Where art goes, fashion is soon to follow, and with the contemporary arts Biennale going on in Venice right now, there are plenty of designers, editors, and even models in town.  On Wednesday, Olympia Scarry’s installation brought out Patrick Demarchelier, Vogue Russia's Aliona Doletskaya, and POP's Dasha Zhukova, as well as Justin Portman and Natalia Vodianova, the latter whose face was reflected in a luminated, aged sketch on display called Dorian Gray, by artist Dasha Fursey.

Naomi Campbell and boyfriend Vladislav Doronin stopped by a lunch for the Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art, and popped up again yesterday at the opening of Francois Pinault's new museum, the Punta della Dogana. Stella McCartney was there with husband Alasdhair Willis to support her financier in his new endeavor, as were Franca Sozzani and Marc Jacobs, always the fan of contemporary art, who apparently kept exclaiming, "This place rocks."

Meanwhile, down the river, Angela Missoni held her annual party on boyfriend Bruno Ragazzi's yacht.  It was quite the family and friends affair: Angela's daughters Margherita and Teresa, plus son Francesco were all mingling, Franca Sozzani brought son Francesco Carrozzini, and Vladimir Restoin-Roitfeld arrived with Carine Roitfeld, who neglected to follow the rest in taking her lace-up shoes off: "It would just take too long to undo them." Bee Shaffer was sans Anna Wintour, but Jefferson Hack brought fiancee Anouck Lepere.

Even those who aren't in Venice in person are there in spirit — Mario Testino sent one of his art consultants to scout the exhibition.
