 @Perfection2011  @Mimi3084900    Oceans 11? Are you serious? Aside from being a remake of a classic film, it has a bunch of big stars in it. Clooney did NOT carry this film by himself because Clooney cannot carry a hit film by himself. He needed Matt Damon AND Brad Pitt for this film to be a hit. Just like he needed Alexander Payne to direct him in "The Descendants". Payne directed "Sideways" which made over $100 million without one big name in it. He made "About Schmidt" with Nicholson, because stars or no stars Alexander Payne makes big hits. Face it, Clooney is an independent film star whose films make OK money. He's only A-List according to the media. A-listers don't stand around groveling for a few million bucks to make films no one wants to see. Why are you grasping at straws here?      Also, Tree of Life as well as In the Land of Blood and Honey only stayed on a small number of screens because they FLOPPED. When a film is successful in a small run the studios expand into more theaters. So what if Tree of Life made $54 million. It cost $40 million to make, millions more to market and millions more for the failed Oscar campaign.  In the end, it probably lost money. It didn't lose as much as Blood and Honey which managed a paltry $300,000 in US theaters. Sort of like how Paramount never made a dime from "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" regarded as the most expensive indie film ever made. Interesting article in the LA times about how the film made no money.   Hollywood is in the business of making money and in that regard, Clooney, Pitt AND Aniston do OK, but not great. In the end none of these people are as successful as their media coverage. Accept that and MOVE ON!

I can only hope that this is her stylish and classy engagement ring. As a european I find this ' look at my huge engagement ring !' so pathetic. The more expensive it is ,the more the fiance loves her (ha,ha,ha)Every woman who considers to get her huge hideous diamond ring ( paid for by money that will go off their future joined bank account ) should watch the movie 'Blood Diamond' first.

I think that is her engagement ring  but she turned it inside her palm and that's why it looks like a wedding band.

I am not sure--but I know that she is Greek and that she was baptized in the Greek Orthodox Church, with that said, it is tradition to have wedding bands blessed with a betrothal prayer and worn before the actual wedding ceremony.  It is a sweet way to begin your engagement period, with a blessing and a declaration of love.  Maybe that explains the ring.  At any rate, I'm happy for them and wish them all of the best.

 @JustGossip where in my post did I SAY Bounty Hunter was a flop? the movie was headlined by Jen and Gerard.. and and Tree of Life was only released in 200 or so theaters and made 54mil ww not to mention it won the most prestigious award in Cannes and was nominated for an Oscar it was never expected to be a big blockbuster hit or else they would have released it in more theaters, Moneyball is considered a moderate success  love happens, the switch were all released in about 2000 screens.  Clooney may had to beg for investors but at the end of the day his films still get made and Aniston will continue talking about Goiree girls, she couldnt even sell that untilted project with Dennis Q to US distributors

 @Mimi3084900 There you go again.   Clooney CAN NOT get a film green lit. He has talked about this in interviews, most recently when he had to beg investors to finance "Ides of March".  He told this whole story about how he had to go to a million different investors to finally get the financing. He cannot carry a $100 film or open a big film and no one would ever risk $100 million to finance a George Clooney movie.  Even George Clooney has admitted this.    So what if Aniston's smaller films don't crack $50 million? All the films you mentioned, Love Happens, Management, are all tiny little films with tiny little budgets. "Tree of life" cost $40 million and only brought in $13 million in the U.S. "The Switch" cost $19 million to make and brought in $27 million in the US. The Bounty Hunter made $136 million worldwide. Moneyball made $110 million worldwide. Moneyball is considered a hit and Bounty Hunter a flop, because in the end it's all about PERCEPTION and working the media.  The numbers tell the real story. Accept that and move on already. Jesus!!!

It's not like she walks around calling herself an A-list star.    A-list is about whether you can get people to think you are A-list. George Clooney hasn't had a $100 hit in well, ever. He can't open a movie. He can't carry a movie. He spends all day and night charming awards show voters so they will nominate his incredibly boring movies. But he doesn't actually have some massive fan base that is interested in him and will pay money to see him in a movie. He's basically an independent film star like Philip Seymore Hoffman, only better looking. And because of his looks we call him A-list even though he isn't. He too, btw, has to beg to get his films made. He's talked about working different events and festivals trying to get people to finance his films because attaching his name to something doesn't mean anyone will actually finance his films.    I look forward to you copying and pasting an article about Clooney's inability to sell actual movie tickets.Sadly those articles don't exist because the media perceives Clooney to be A-list even though he isn't. And because he's a man and we wouldn't dream of writing an article like that. Just like we'd never write about how Matt Damon can't open a picture unless he's playing Jason Bourne. Damon had one of the biggest flops of the decade with The Green Zone which cost $150 million to make and lost more than $100 million. Aniston doesn't ever involve herself in projects that lose that kind of money. She stars in mid-range films that make their money back or turn a profit.    I don't think Aniston cares all that much about being A-list. She's living her life and charging studios according to what she actually is. She doesn't charge $20 million a picture. She doesn't try out for huge mega blockbusters and has said a million times she isn't interested in those films. She has made no attempt at making some Oscar bait type films and clearly doesn't give a crap. The woman is just living her life.   Why does that bother you so much?

 @yeahbaby ^THIS.   Jen''s been wearing that ring since they started shooting this movie because they play a fake married couple. And good for Jen not to stage a photo-op Kardashian/Jolie style where they literally felt the need do a pap walk within hours of the announcement. Jolie even did her pap walk in front of the Roosevelt Hotel, a place known for its secret celeb entrance so you can actually avoid the paps. LOL. Note to Jolie: When your man spent a year designing Aniston's ring and a year designing Paltrow's ring the specialness of your ring is considerably diminished. Kind of like how he tried to talk those other women into giving birth to a soccer team for him before he actually found a woman crazy enough to do it.    I'm sure we'll eventually see Jen's ring, but it will be a month from now. So Glad she didn't do the full on Kardashian/Jolie engagement roll-out. We don't even have any pix of them on their engagement weekend in NYC. Now that's low-key.    Anyway, I'm off. You know the loons will be here any minute griping about the ring even though it's not the actual ring.
