Jennifer Aniston Talks About Working Out 7 Days a Week

Jennifer Aniston Works Out 7 Days a Week — Do You?

We all know that Jennifer Aniston has a killer rock-hard, toned, and defined body, but she wasn't born with it. Her secret isn't a secret at all. She told the Daily Mirror at the London launch of her new fragrance:

"It's simple. [I] run, work out every day. I do a lot of running — exercise is so important."

Working out regularly is a great habit to get into, although I wouldn't recommend running every single day. It's good to mix it up, to keep your muscles and your mind guessing, which helps avoid injury and prevent workout burnout. It definitely takes commitment to exercise daily, so tell me . . .

I'm a runner, but I only run 5 days a week. I do weights, Pilates or yoga the other days. I feel better if I exercise everyday, even if its just a short yoga routine

I do feel better when I exercise & would love to every single day, but still not there yet. I feel proud that I work out 3-4 times/week. There's no way that Jenn got that body without earning it! I figured she worked out 7x/week!

Lately, I have been. I take one "easy" day per week to recover, but I really do feel a lot better if I work out every day.

No, not me. I only run if someone's chasing me. My boyfriend's the runner. He's obsessed with that stuff. It's healthy but I can't get inspired to do it. Pilates is the one thing I like. I lost a lot of weight and toned up doing it. Didn't think a bunch of stretching poses could do so much for the body. I need to get back into.

Right now I'm working out 5 days/week, since 7 days/week was leaving me a little too vulnerable to injuries.

I wish I could work out seven days a week, but I don't have enough time for it! I do try to run 2-3 times a week now, and then added works outs thrown in (zumba 1-2 times a week) and pool workouts whenever I go swimming.

Hmmm, no not "working out", that's just overboard for me. But I probably do something that might be considered somewhat active almost every day. My joints need some movement.

It could be something as simple as "took the stairs today instead of the elevator" but absolutely, something active every day! Otherwise, I get a little antsy. I'm going crazy right now because my foot is injured and I can't do pretty much anything!

During the week I alternate 3 days of cardio/running and 2 days of strength training. Then on weekends, I'll try to go for a swim or take a hike so at least I try to stay active. I have to say, I started this regimen about 2 months ago, and I've never felt better physically or mentally. I hope I can stick with it!

No. I exercise only three days a week.

I do intense workouts 4-5 days a week when I can fit them in, but I do try and do some activity every day. I used to run twice a day for 5 days a week, I could only keep that up for a month.

some weeks I do work out 7 days but I'm not anal about it. you need to be able to take a day off either because you need rest or just to do something fun.

4-5 days. I like to have a few days to rest my body... some weeks I do 6 though.

I think its sort of all relative. Maybe she runs everyday, or maybe she is generalizing a bit, and what she really means is that she gets some sort of activity, whether it is yoga, running, hiking, whatever each day. I personally think that it has more to do with your feelings and beliefs and why you are working out than the actual workout itself. Meaning, if you are killing yourself at the gym every day because you dislike the way your body looks now, then yeah... that is not healthy. But if you truly enjoy moving your body, and you get up each day inspired to stretch and move and sweat, than that is totally different.

I do 4 days per week, sometimes a light run on Sundays making it 5. Good for her though she looks great!

I'm more like 5/6 times a week. Actually, my best workouts of all are monday evenings after a sunday "cheat" day.

5 days per week for now. 3 if I am injured or extremely sore from previous workouts. I'd like to workout 7 days a week, but the heat in the deep south is an absolute killer. At least winter is only pseudo-winter, so I have something to look forward to ;) Anyway, all this running talk is making me want to start running again!

I have a workout/training routine that takes up 4 days per week, but my overall goal is to do some activity everyday. Exercise, for me, is more about keeping my mood stable and helping me sleep at night, so no matter what, I do something ... usually my "unplanned" workouts are a hike, some yoga, a brisk after-dinner walk, or hula hooping. :-)
