Jennifer Garner Prepares For Timothy Green Release Pictures

Jennifer Garner stepped out in Brentwood yesterday to run errands solo, and later went toy shopping with her oldest child, Violet Affleck. Jen's holding down the fort on the West Coast while her husband, Ben Affleck, is on location in Puerto Rico shooting Runner, Runner. Jen's been busy balancing outings with Violet and her other little ones, Seraphina and Samuel, while also promoting The Odd Life of Timothy Green ahead of its Aug. 15 release. She hit the red carpet at Monday night's LA premiere wearing a bright red Lanvin dress and chatted with us about her plans to return to action films. According to Jen, she's been working out with her trainer, who wants to see her back in roles that require lots of pleather.

Aside from work and parenting duties, Jen's also been keeping tabs on the Olympics. She's rooting for American athletes like Gabby Douglas, Missy Franklin, and beach volleyball gold medalists Kerri Lee Walsh and Misty May-Treanor. The Olympics come to a close on Sunday, when the Spice Girls and other major musical acts participate in the closing ceremonies.
