Hi, I'm Allie Merriam. We caught up with Jennifer Garner on the astro turf carpet at last night's LA Premier of The Odd Life of Timothy Green. Get the scoop on what she told us about who she brought as her date and her hopes to return to action movie making in today's PopSugar Rush. Do I think there'll be a return to the action? I hope so. I was just, I was working out with my trainer this morning and she's trained me for 12 years, and she said I think it's time, I think we need to put some pleather on. We 'd be excited to see Jennifer get back to roles like the one that made her famous Sydney Bristow in Alias. This movie though sees Jennifer playing a mom with her leading man Joel Edgerton as they create a family through some unconventional means. Our own Lindsey Miller was on the carpet getting the story. Jennifer told us she brought two very special guests as her date for the movie tonight. My parents are here. I made them come. They've never really been to a premier and I said this time, for this movie, you have to come. I really wanna sit and watch it with you. Jennifer's co-stars and director had only good things to say about her as both an actress and a person. But Jennifer, first of all, is fearless. She's an incredible comedian. She's like Lucille Ball level comedian. She's really pretty in person. I was like, whoa. She 's so beautiful and so nice, and the whole family is just so sweet. Story creator Ahmet Saka echoed the sentiments about Jennifer and Joel. The secret thing aside from them being so talented, they're so nice. So sweet. It's almost almost like too saccharine. They were really good people. We also caught up with Jennifer last weekend, when she told us that the role in Odd Life is one that's really close to home. I don't think you can help but bring whatever you have, being a parent is such a big part of my life now. I have a trillion kids. And what does Jennifer hope the audiences take away from her new film? Love. It's all love, this movie. "The Odd Life of Timothy Green" arrives in theaters August 15th. I'm Allie Merriam. Thanks for watching PopSugar Rush.
