Jennifer Garner held on to her younger daughter, Seraphina Affleck, leaving a toy store in LA on Saturday. The girls ventured out on their own to pick up a bag full of gifts after exploring a fruit and vegetable farm earlier in the week with older sister Violet. Once again they were without the company of Ben Affleck, who had an exciting week of movie news. He's recently committed to direct his third feature film, Argo, but in order to pursue the directing project Ben Affleck dropped out of The Great Gatsby. He was going to play Tom Buchanan opposite Leonardo DiCaprio and Carey Mulligan. Jen, on the other hand, sticks to acting in front of the camera and she has a number of projects in the works, including playing Agatha Christie's Miss Marple on the big screen.

Jennifer and Ben actually live in LA. Angelina and Brad rarely live in LA.

It's proven by Madonna, if you want to avoid the paps, you wear the same clothes everyday and dress your kids the same for days on end and they can't get "new" photos. But when your kids add to your ca-ching(!) that strategy isn't as useful.

at least the children always look happy with mom .unlike matt damons girls. it always looks like a chore for their mother too spend time with them.

Jennifer goes outside her house to do STUFF. Run errands, take the girls to school, go to lunch, visit the library, etc. She does not live in a compound with cooks and a staff of nannies. If she really wanted to be photographed for publicity, she'd look a bit more glamorous then a suburban soccer mom. I don't think you understand the difference between the Afflecks' lifestyle, and the lifestyle of A ngelina Jolie's family.

The thing is Angelina is hardly seen at all in LA, not even by herself. She must go out, she just doesn't go to pap filled places like Garner does. Garner is always going to the pap filled farmers market or the same coffee place. If she wanted to avoid the paps she could!!!!!!! Angelina proves that. Their kids are seen when movies are coming out sometimes, but not always. Usually because a premier is in New York where you are going to be photographed. And people are NOT going to go see a film because Angelina is seen with her kids. Movie goers go see a movie if they want to....not because they see a pap picture. That is stupid to think a pap picture makes any difference.

She can't plan her life around the paps. As far as Angelina & Brad are concerned, their kids are plenty visible when the parents have something to promote. Also, Jennifer doesn't appear to have a full-time nanny. So yeah, the kids are going to be with her when she runs her errands.

Maybe she should get a new routine. She and hers kids are photographed almost daily! She does nothing at all to avoid them or to find a pap free area. Instead she just keeps going to pap hotspots every single day. Somehow Angelina & Brad and their kids manage to hardly be photographed at all in LA. They prove it is definitely possible to avoid paps when in LA. Jessica Alba, Garner, Gwen etc. should ask them how to get around, but I think they love the photographers too much
