Jennifer Garner, Violet, and Seraphina at Books and Cookies

Jennifer Garner took her daughters Violet and Seraphina Affleck for an afternoon at Books and Cookies, a new bookstore and bakery with activities for kids, in Santa Monica yesterday. The girls left with a bag of treats and a few colorful balloons to celebrate their successful outing. Jennifer's husband and the girls' dad Ben has been hard at work during the weeks, but the weekends have meant family time for the Garner-Afflecks this Summer. Ben Affleck looked hot carrying Seraphina while Jennifer held onto Violet's hand for brunch together last Sunday. Ben's next directorial and starring vehicle, Argo, is lining up quite a cast including Bryan Cranston and John Goodman. Jennifer has her own ensemble project coming this year when her film with Hugh Jackman and Olivia Wilde, Butter hits theaters.
