Jennifer Lopez Arriving For a Pre-Birthday Dinner in Miami Pictures

Jennifer Lopez stepped out in a brightly colored party dress for dinner and drinks with friends at the Forge in Miami on Friday. The group dined on a gourmet meal and toasted Jennifer Lopez's 42nd birthday, which was yesterday, before capping off the night with a chocolate soufflé. Jennifer was in high spirits despite her recent breakup with husband Marc Anthony. It's been a little over a week since Jennifer and Marc announced their split, though it hasn't caused either performer to cancel any work obligations. J Lo performed at a private wedding in Europe last weekend and then headed straight to Atlanta to start shooting her new comedy What to Expect While You're Expecting. After months of contract negotiations, Jennifer is also reportedly very close to sign a deal to return to American Idol next season.
