Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are splitting up after seven years of marriage!

The pair, who are parents to 3-year-old twins Max and Emme, announced the news in a joint statement today. Marc and Jennifer said, "We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters. It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

another one bites the dust. Not surprised -- it's the fast lane in Hollywood where it seems that apparently no one is ever really happy with their partner so off they go to the next one. What a bunch of bores. They are shallow and shouldn't be allowed to have children.

Team Jennifer! I really feel for her. This is the longest she's been married or in a relationship with any man - EVER. And then there's the children. Jennifer is like me. Her parents stayed married. Divorce with children when you grew up in a nuclear family cuts deeper. I know. Her other marriages were short and don't count because she didn't have children with them. And then there's the media attention on top. So painful!

Although this is much lower than Jo Lo's net worth of $250 million I somehow doubt that Marc was asking his wife for a weekly allowance! Because his future in the business is more dependent on his producing talents rather than on his looks and concerts ticket sales he will be just fine financially. You obviously know nothing about the man. Jo Lo actually needed his help when her career was sliding down a while ago.

Marc is jerk...right after he renewed his wedding vows with his ex-wife Dayanara(ex-miss universe), he cheated with Jennifer and left her heartbroken with two kids. I hope Jen did the same to him, he deserves the worst! never liked him because of it....

Well seeing how the divorce rate is around 50% in the US, I don't think celeb marriages are any more throw away or any more of a failure than any non famous person's wedding. People have higher expectations of marriage than they did in the past. They expect to feel a certain way during the entire course of it and the reality of marriage is far from that. I'm sure the children will continue to be loved and provided for, assuming they don't get crazy in court.

"Who's going to support him financially?" She definitely makes more money than him, but he is a pretty famous singer in Central and South America. I think he'll do just fine. There was always something that felt fake to me about these two. I do hope they handle the divorce well, especially because of their kids.
