Jennifer Lopez Receives Amnesty International Award

On Wednesday, J Lo received the Berlinale Film Festival's Artists for Amnesty Award for her work in Bordertown. Jennifer both produced and starred in the film, which documents the unsolved murders of hundreds of women in Juarez, Mexico. Jen has said that she worked on the film to bring attention to the overlooked crimes and bring justice to those responsible. Looks likes she's already getting the attention she was hoping for.

I do think it is commendable, but she is the least likely person I thought would get this award. Good for her.

I think this is so commendable on her part. I read an article about all the missing women near Juarez and I hope this movie brings more attention to these horrendous crimes. I can't imagine what I would do if my daughter disappeared without a trace, and there was little the police could do. Jennifer looks gorgeous, but her hair looks a bit flat.
