Jeremy Renner reported to the set of The Bourne Legacy in the Philippines yesterday. He was joined by bodyguards and costar Edward Norton for a day of shooting at the Navotas Fish Port in Manila. Jeremy is taking over the lead role from Matt Damon, who starred in the first three films in the franchise. He won't be playing Matt's Jason Bourne, though, since he's being introduced as a new character named Aaron Cross. Jeremy's packing in a lot of action on the big screen lately after the 2011 release of Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol and he'll keep it up when The Avengers hits theaters in May followed by The Bourne Legacy this August.

ED NORTON?????!!!! He f'ed-up the Hulk series and now he's going to f-up the Bourne series!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE Jeremy Renner but how in the world do you do a Bourne flick without BOURNE???? (BTW, prequals SUCK! if that's the plan) I can't believe they couldn't convince Damon to come back. There's more to this. The script must suck so bad Damon can't fix it. I bet Chris Cooper isn't coming back either. Renner AND Damon would have been hot.

LikeFor those that do not understand a Bourne series without Bourne, the title of the movie is Bourne LEGACY. Look up the word legacy and then you might get it.
Most of the people from the previous movies ARE coming back.
Hulk was not a series of movies, and Eric Bana's version was a TERRIBLE waste of the Hulk story line.
Why would an Oscar nominated actor like Norton mess up a character in a movie?
Frankly I am glad Damon is out of this one. Let him do more sucky movies like "We Bought a Zoo".
