Jessica Bandages Up and Talks Football on Letterman

Jessica Simpson stopped by The Late Show last night in a skin-tight Herve Leger dress and as soon as she stepped on stage, Dave Letterman wanted to talk football. He grilled her about her first date with Tony, her "jinx" status, and why she will never wear a pink jersey again (blue only from now on). She assured Dave that Tony's "firing the pigskin real right" and won the debate over whether QBs wear cups — all while showing off that trademark laugh. When she finally got to the music, she performed "Come on Over" in that country twang that has already gotten her album to No. 1 on iTunes this week.

I can't believe anyone has the balls to call this girl fat. It is a sad sad time for women all round, when it comes to body image. Fat. OMG. I still can't get over it. My own self esteem keeps getting lower and lower and lower....... :(

I like J. Simpson, not just because she is a toothsome blond, but because of her vivacity and ingenuousness. True, she does seem a bit vapid at times, but she is a free spirit whose mouth operates before her brain is in gear. I like that about her, but would not want to necessarly be married to her. She is high maintenance that's for sure. She is also incredilbly photogenic, look at that million dollar smile! Although she has put on weight, I defy any one of you who said she was ugly to submit your own photos for purposes of comparison. I think the aviordupois suits her just fine.

Jessica Simpson looked gorgeous and so giddy in that interview. During the football talk and Jessica saying she is guilty of looking really close at a "certain area" was so hilarious. I do that too sometimes, LMAO. I can't help but root her on.

Did she go through the Jennifer Lopez School of Interviews? Laugh every 2 seconds, stick out your tongue, smile at the audience so they can relate to your nonsensical talk? Well, at least she didn't say "you know what I mean" after every sentence. And her twang is just waaaaaaaaaaaay too exaggerated right now. If she was being herself on Newlyweds, then this Texas accent must be fake.....or temporary. (I'm embarrassed to be from Texas right now!) Granted, she needs to do whatever she can so people purchase her cd right now. (BTW, what did her dad say about her flash of booty on TV the other day? That interview was terrible, I watched it last night. Jessica laughed every time Dave spoke, and he barely asked her any questions about the album. They talked about football most of the time, and a little about Dolly Parton but thats it. Snoozefest :zzz:

Honestly, she can be a little annoying but I am happy to hear about her album success. She deserves it after all the crap people say about her. They attack her for being Tony's girlfriend and make a big deal about it but we don't see any of the other sports guy's wives/girlfriends getting as much press. It's because of who she is. Go Jess!

i love how harve leger dresses are able to make just about anyone skinny - that's his trademark and has been for AGES. it's a great color for her - and i think that it's probably the only nice thing that i can say about her. i don't know why she's got that false country twang - it's AWFUL! i heard it on GMA the other day and i wanted to rip my ears off. i don't know why she thinks that it's ok - but i guess someone must have told her that she sounded good along the way. oh well.

I HATE this girl. Why must she terrorize us with her vapid personality and her ginormous boobs and catty personality that she hides behind her "supposed" stupidity. Hello, Carrie Underwood is classy and beautiful and extremely talented. Her dad is not orchestrating her love life or putting her "rack" on center stage. There are not perverted stories about Carrie and her dad. She also wasn't married and cheated on her husband with Johnny Knoxville and god knows who else. I know the Jess lovers will deny all this, etc, but it is true. The girl is not this all-american girl she tries to sell us on. She is a publicity whore and I am sooooo sick of seeing her on this site and every other. She isn't horribly unattractive, but she is horribly annoying. I hope Tony Romo dumps her on her butt. I am so sick of hearing about these two. I hated hearing about her and Nick too though. I just can't stand her. I will continue to post negativity about her as long as there is a post about her. Some love her, some hate her (I fall into the latter) Ugh.

ElleJay your memory's too short...Jessica called her fat right after she won American Idol (before she lost weight) and she had just started dating Tony...Jessica was supposed to be dating John Mayer but she was trying to hook up with Tony...he had to deny it... my memory is quite long. Especially with that heifer.
