Jessica Is Covered Up, Smiling And NYC Bound
After a few days around NYC, where Jessica is apparently house hunting in order to be close to her record label while she records her country album, she was in LA over the weekend flashing those chompers for Operation Smile. She was certainly keeping herself covered up (to the point of looking a bit matronly) at the organization's 25th Annual Gala on Friday night. For a very pretty girl, Jessica Simpson can certainly choose an unflattering dress. I vastly prefer Jessica when she dresses casual (and the extensions are a bit much), but at least she wasn't wearing something inappropriate out to support the charity she's been working with for years. Now she just needs to find a good middle ground between this here and stuff like this.

42******I personally think the dress has class! I'm tired of reading everywhere that she looked frumpy or this or that. Is it so bad to cover up a bit for once!? People give her crap for prancing around in the pink bikini for Dukes saying she shows too much skin, now people bash her for looking "matronly," saying she's covering up too much! The girl can't win. I think there is NOTHING wrong with a girl in Hollywood actually covering up and looking classy. She still look absolutly gorgeous....actually, this is the best she has looked in months in my opinion! I appericate the fact that she knows she is a role model to girls all around and operation smile is a childrens charity so she dresses accordingly! The dress seriously isn't as frumpy as everyone is saying either! The buttons streaming down the entire back and totally sexy! The dress is tight fitting where it needs to be. Remember the people who in a way formed fashion...some names like Grace Kelly, Jackie O.?? I think it's great when girls can prove that you don't need to show a stomach, a boob or a theigh to be hot. The world is becoming way too sex crazed and it's disgusting.
