Jessica Is Covered Up, Smiling And NYC Bound

After a few days around NYC, where Jessica is apparently house hunting in order to be close to her record label while she records her country album, she was in LA over the weekend flashing those chompers for Operation Smile. She was certainly keeping herself covered up (to the point of looking a bit matronly) at the organization's 25th Annual Gala on Friday night. For a very pretty girl, Jessica Simpson can certainly choose an unflattering dress. I vastly prefer Jessica when she dresses casual (and the extensions are a bit much), but at least she wasn't wearing something inappropriate out to support the charity she's been working with for years. Now she just needs to find a good middle ground between this here and stuff like this.

also I have to add that celebs may not be respected because of "people" like Britney, Lindsay or Paris. Jessica is one of many other celebs that makes me think they are not lost. Thaty they are common people like us that want to be happy. so stop hating you will get old really fast, or maybe you ARE old and that´s the reason of your actions

I think she needs to find a balance. She dresses at such different extremes for events, it's hard to know who the real Jessica actually is.

I don't hate Jessica nor do I think she looks frumpy. I do however intensely dislike her because she is fake. She can dress as modestly as she likes but all I see is a girl with an obsession for changing how she looks with eye lifts and plumped up lips at such a young age and who's only real talent lies in washing cars half naked.

Why respect a fake no talent that has no respect for the general public? Like we all believe she's a "natural" beauty with an amazing singing and acting ability? I think we have the right to express our displeasure with a greedy, narcissist forcing herself down the public's throat even though she has nothing to offer. Jessica Simpson, like Paris Hilton, are why noone respects celebrities anymore.

SHE LOOKS STUNNING!!!! And I think that the dress is perfect for this event. I think it´s totally classy and elegant, and the colour suits her. She is a natural beauty so she can pull it off, however haters will always have to say something negative about her, if she is showing her boobs "she is a slut" if she is not showing them "she looks like a grandma" I would like to see some of you with a dress like that one. BTW I dont know why people keep bothering on posting negative things on celebs they dont like. I mean, I hate britney so I dont even waste my time on posting negative things about her... I dont know, it´s about respect... do you know that word?

Oh please, you can't be a whore and Mary Poppins at the same time. Most people, who didn't watch the sripted Newlyweds, only know her because of the boots video, porn, and jumping between nightclubs showing her boobs. So noone has caught her with drugs yet, well they haven't caught her in the act of plastic surgery either, and its obvious she gets it regularly. So apart from the fact that Britney was successful, and that Britney's dad doesn't follow her around feeding fake stories to the tabloids, I don't see a difference.

******I personally think the dress has class! I'm tired of reading everywhere that she looked frumpy or this or that. Is it so bad to cover up a bit for once!? People give her crap for prancing around in the pink bikini for Dukes saying she shows too much skin, now people bash her for looking "matronly," saying she's covering up too much! The girl can't win. I think there is NOTHING wrong with a girl in Hollywood actually covering up and looking classy. She still look absolutly gorgeous....actually, this is the best she has looked in months in my opinion! I appericate the fact that she knows she is a role model to girls all around and operation smile is a childrens charity so she dresses accordingly! The dress seriously isn't as frumpy as everyone is saying either! The buttons streaming down the entire back and totally sexy! The dress is tight fitting where it needs to be. Remember the people who in a way formed fashion...some names like Grace Kelly, Jackie O.?? I think it's great when girls can prove that you don't need to show a stomach, a boob or a theigh to be hot. The world is becoming way too sex crazed and it's disgusting. Just my opinion. ****************************************
