It's official! Jessica Simpson has given birth to her baby girl, Maxwell Drew Johnson. After months of speculation, Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson's little one has finally arrived. Jessica gave birth this morning to a baby girl named Maxwell Drew Johnson, as she made the big announcement on her website, saying: "Eric and I are elated to announce the birth of our baby Maxwell Drew Johnson, 9 lbs, 13 ox, 21 3/4. We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. It has been the greatest experience of our lives. As for where the baby's name comes from, Maxwell is actually Eric's middle name and Drew is grandmother Tina Simpson's maiden name. "I just started calling myself Swamp Ass . . ." Jessica stayed candid about her pregnancy as she made the talk show rounds over the past few months, and fans have been wondering for weeks when she might into labor. The new mom herself even went on Twitter to answer rumors that she had already given birth, but clearly the long wait was worth it.
