Jessica Simpson Has a Type: Fun and Fearless (Shoppers)

Tony Romo and John Mayer were both spotted out shopping separately in NYC yesterday before their big Cosmo event and after the celebration most of the men headed off to grab some dinner together. Aww to that (and also, side note: awww to Tony's Tiffany's bag there...lucky Jess?). John picked up some less-romantic gifts at Louis Vuitton and Burberry to keep looking so sharp. While we noted that Jess must love Fun, Fearless men since John, Dane and Tony were all chosen for the honor, Tony wasn't afraid to crack a joke about it. He said, "If you date Jessica Simpson, I guess you're fun and fearless." He also tackled those engagement stories, saying, "I mean, it's just rumors. That's what people say." While Tony seems to have a great sense of humor about everything, Jess avoided any awkwardness by staying home from the event. I don't think we'll be hearing wedding bells just yet, but Tony and Jess are definitely growing on me, you?

why are people here reporting what the "TABLOIDS" say as fact, Im sorry when did tabloids and gossip articles start printing the truth? Sometimes they get their stories right but neither Jessica or Nick has said that either one has cheated nor is it any of our business since they didn't say it so why even state it as fact? BTW there were no official pictures of either of them actually on the record dating anyone until they were broken up.Personally I never believed that either one of them cheated.If you're talking about pics of Jessica with her costars and friends and Nick with his friends that is all speculation,until one of them says otherwise, people here who are simply fans who don't know either one of them can't say anymore than the rest of us what actually happened to diminish that marriage( other than Jessica's father being a factor as he didn't approve of the marriage but he doesn't like anybody that she picks, he's a hater,lol) You really can't use tabloid gossip to support your argument when they aren't even factual claims.

THANK YOU TIMEOUT! i could not agree with you more! although i will admit that she and nick seemed best together, they are no longer that way and the fact that he just happened to stick with one woman should not put her in bad light! how many celebrities-no, how many people in general- date!? just because she's had a few public relationships since her divorce in 2005 (3 years ago) does not make her a bad or a dirty person!!

Kitten I disagree with you totally. It was & is very well known & documented that NICK was out there cavorting with many women when Jess was not around. If you look back at it's entirity you will see that it was Nick that was always in the papers about his behaviour with these women. That marriage was in trouble long before Jess did any movies or anything else. Like I said Nick knew not to ask for much more money or it would blow wide open. I would also bet they each signed a document stating neither would every fully talk about it so to blame Jessica is total BS.

Um, the reason she hasn't talked about the details of her marriage is because she cheated on Nick. There is no way she can reveal those details without looking extremely bad in the public eye. She's not very smart, but she's smart enough to know to keep quiet about that much. I love that Tony Romo said he's not getting married anytime soon and that anything to the contrary is just rumors. Bet Jess wasn't too happy to hear her fun, fearless guy say that!

I don't like him anymore. Basically Jerry is paying Tony to date a talentless idiot and buy her shiny things to keep her attention, because he sure as hell doesn't play consistant enough for his salary. What a douche!!

I don't get all the hatred on this woman at all. She is a beautiful girl & I am totally impressed that she has kept her divorce details to a minimum & not discussed them at all. She has taken a lot of flack for divorcing Lachey & he takes all the flowers. I say BS because Lachey he knew not to open a can of worms because he would go down & not Jessica. I like the fact that John & Tony are mature enough men to be civil to each other. It is quite apparent that John still does care about what happens to Jessica from when he did his blog. Not sure about Dane as I never thought they played at all. What are these guys to do when all in one area?? Can you imagine the papers today if it had been anything but civil. I think Tony & Jessica need to be left alone to figure it all out. They actually look like they are having a great deal of fun & are very good for each other. Its called the beginning of a relationship for those that don't get it. I see that many prefer to be back in the dark ages when it comes to women in relationships. Men get all the butt they want but when a woman has a coupel of partners she gets called something else. How unkind. So much for women being able to be free to express. Whats good for one is not good for the other. There is nothing in Jessica's history that even comes close to her being any of that period. It has taken her quite a while to bounce back & want to feel free & have fun. Give her that & stop knocking her. Wait & see what she comes out with in her music before you critisize it. I'm a Philadelphia Eagles girl myself, and the Cowboys are their rivals, so a distracted quarterback is good for me. That being said, I don't understand either what anybody sees in her. She's pretty (or, I guess a guy would say "hot"), and that might get her a month or two of a relationship, but then what? You can't just be with someone because of their looks. That's never going to work.

Doesn't matter how good Brady is, he's forever tainted by the Patriots' cheating and he'll forever be haunted by the Mannings. :rotfl: btw, he got lucky with the "tuck rule" and then got some help against the Rams with Spygate I. ;)
