Jessica Simpson Linked to Billy Corgan — Too Bizarre or Strangely Perfect?

Jessica Simpson has had quite a few ups and downs over the last year, especially as far as her love life is concerned. The latest development, though, has her linked to an unexpected new guy. According to OK!, Jess is smitten with none other than Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan after meeting him at a party. She's already referred to him on Twitter two times, so they're clearly in some form of contact. He's single after a recent dalliance with Tila Tequila, and Jess is obviously a free agent following her breakup from Tony Romo. So, tell us what you think — are Jessica and Billy too bizarre to be a couple or are they strangely perfect?

WOW, I'm in the minority but I think this is a step down for Jessica. How do you go from a Nick Lachey to Billy Corgan, uuugghhhh! Every man she dates is worse than the one before him, I knew once she divorced she would be unlucky in love for a minute. I think she can do better.

Why does everyone hate Jessica Simpson so bad? Is it because she's blond and beautiful? She has a clothing line that does very well at major chains. Trust me, she's doing VERY well, so you can keep attacking her but you're just making yourself look bad. Billy Corgan has been dating tattooed jerks for too long. Guess what bitches? Turns out... he likes the nice girl! Ha!

Don't hate on Jessica, kiddies... If you are really a fan of Billy's, you know that he preaches acceptance and love and would be very disappointed in the "slut bag" and "fat cow" jabs being thrown around. Honestly he lived with Courtney Love for 2 years and dated that Tequila chic...Jessica is way better than either one of those chica's so he is actually taking a step up..So Far Jess has only dated pretty packages..Nothing of any substance.

Its funny everyone seems to think she is so clueless. Yeah right clueless all the way to the bank. Her net worth is easily in the millions and she has launched one of the most successful shoe lines in the last 20 years of fashion. So while her talent is obivously not in acting, maybe not in singing, she has found a path to make more money than the upper 1% of the rich in the US. Maybe they both know exactly what their doing!

I love Billy and although I don't hate her I have a hard time seeing them together. He is very intelligent and well she's never come across that way to me. I guess opposites can attract and this is a huge step up from Tila Tequila so I guess good luck to them.

Such contrived schmaltzy BS. The days of Cherub Rock are so far gone, it's like they almost didn't happen. I'd say they're a perfect couple.
