Jessica Simpson goes nude to bare her baby bump on the April cover of Elle magazine. The pregnant pop star strategically posed in nothing but jewelry for the January shoot, which took place in LA, and even though Jess admitted on Twitter that she's nervous to share the shots with the world, she added that she's "never felt more beautiful or empowered." Jess is just the latest famous mom-to-be to bare it all for a magazine cover — Demi Moore originated the pose on the cover of Vanity Fair in 1991 . . . pop stars Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera followed suit in 2006 and 2008 . . . and model moms Cindy Crawford and Claudia Schiffer have also opted for skin-baring belly cover shots for W and Vogue magazines. "I'm really excited, beyond excited, over the moon. What am I nervous about? That it will be just like me (laughs)" Back in November, Ms. Simpson told us she's nervous her child will take after her too much, and so far, the baby-to-be is following in mom's footsteps — Jess finally revealed she's having a girl by referring to the little one as "she" in Elle. Ms. Simpson also hinted at her daughter's name, saying "It's nothing shocking and nothing you'll have to add to the dictionary. When people hear it, they'll know why." Jessica has said that her bundle of joy will arrive this Spring. Meanwhile, her other labor of love, Fashion Star, is set to premiere March 13th.
