Jessica Simpson met up with a friend to go shopping at Fred Segal in Santa Monica yesterday. She covered up her baby bump in a black maxi dress and sweater while hanging onto her red YSL handbag and sporting new Victoria Beckham sunglasses. Jessica accessorized with a long gold necklace, which was different from the delicate chain she was recently spotted wearing. Jessica wore an "M" initial necklace last month, adding to rumors that she and fiancé Eric Johnson are planning to name their baby girl, Maxwell, which is Eric's middle name. The couple are getting ready for the arrival of their first child, and already celebrated with a baby shower. Jessica wore blue for the mostly pink fete that included guests Cacee Cobb, her sister Ashlee, and mom Tina.

i think she is huge, BUT size of the belly doesn't have anything to do with size of baby, or number of babies, or leaving stretch marks or not.

The only pregnant person I have ever seen this huge was carrying triplets. She is going to have a really hard time losing the weight. She shouldn't have let herself over-indulge so much during pregnancy - geez.

I am a natural size 8 person and when I was pregnant I gained about 40 lbs and was wearing size 12. But, I never looked this huge. I can't believe she isn't pregnant with twins at least. Also, I don't really see the style. She is only wearing large dresses to feel comfortable which really isn't style. I see other celebrities like Kate Hudson that gained a lot of weight while pregnant and looked cute in outfits.

@babaloo You are so right. I hate it that people say she is such a well dressed pregnant lady when she isn't. Every time I see here I can't believe how gross she is. Its so funny that some sites actually call her out on it saying she is pregnant with a four year old.
