Jessica and Tony Play Mavericks Cheerleaders!

Fresh from their drunky wedding weekend in Ohio, Jessica Simpson and Tony Romo were back in Dallas last night to watch the Mavericks take on the LA Lakers. Unfortunately, the couple didn't bring good luck to the hometown boys, who lost the game. Sad faces. Seriously though, is it me or is Tony getting better looking? Maybe it's the hat and slightly longer hair. The TV announcers had a little fun at Jessica's expense, but if anyone's used to some friendly teasing it's Miss Simpson. Plus come on, they're pretty cute together.

What a jinx. I can't believe every game that pathetica chestica goes to, the team ends up losing. What a dumb blonde loser she really is. Why is Tony wasting his time? He could be doing somthing important like breathing!!!!! Chestica, please leave Tony alone, and while you're at it, stay away from Dirk!!! By the way, they are not a cute couple. She should try to hook up with Kobe Bryant so that Dallas (or the Spurs) can win!! The jinx needs to go back to L.A. and stay!!!

Orianna, maybe you overlook the comment from me so I hope you read it. All the "reasons" you gave are based on PERCEPTIONS. I read both sides of the story so I already understand the ACTUAL FACTS of what's really going on, eg. the orphanage trip. And let me stress this out again, she has been donating money to the same orphanage since 1999 and yet, she didn't make a big deal about it so that's why not many people know about this. Those people who know very well always describe the same thing about her - that she's a very kind-hearted person, an angel, a good soul, etc. That already speaks volumes of what kind of person she is. Not from strangers who don't know her at all but insisted on passing judgments about her!! If you read direct interviews from Jessica herself, she said she was DEEPLY HURT when people called her a dumb blonde but tried to ignore it because from her perspective, she was just being herself, she liked to ask questions about things that she's unsure of. She also said she understand that people always like to say the bad stuffs instead of the good ones, so she tried to put the past(newlyweds) behind her.

I've met Bowen & Horry (and Malik Rose) at a dvd signing, Avery Johnson after a speech he gave my friend's son's school & then again after a game as he was driving off, David Robinson downtown...and I met Manu at the airport! I couldn't get a picture but we chatted for a good 3-4 minutes. His wife is really pretty up close. I met Tony & Eva at the Shops at La Cantera. She wasn't very nice to us, but Tony was. (Maybe she didn't like that he got the attention given to him by the 4 fans around them? It wasn't a big crowd.) You're too funny, Angel blue, as I clearly stated that the more natural make up was a more flattering look for her. I wasn't rude about her, but the fact is the one thing everyone "knows" about Jessica Simpson is that she's a ditz... and the biggest thing I hear from her "supporters" or "fans" is that it was all an act, she's not really that way. Trust me when I say her little miss innocent act is just exactly that - an act. Her voice is completely gone because she doesn't sing properly, she can't act, and she is hanging on to celebrity by a thread. As for the orphanage report - you don't take paparazzi to an orphanage for a 45 minute photo shoot. So that I may be more clear and address the topic, which I attempted to address succinctly, but failed: She was only there for those 45 minutes and she took ProActiv with her? Orphans in Mexico need shoes, clothing, food, basic essentials like soap, shampoo, and the like, not ProActiv. But when you take products that didn't cost you anything and a vehicle that didn't cost you anything, because lord knows Jessica can't drive a Chrysler, how can you say that wasn't a publicity stunt? Someone really hoping to get help or support for the orphanage, would have spent more than 45 minutes, would have presented them a check with her own money and encouraged her fans and celebrities to join in or she could have asked fans to donate money to the charity, promising to match that dollar amount to them. What she gave, didn't cost her anything, and in fact, "helped" her career by keeping her in the spotlight. That's not charity. She never mentions this charity in any other capacity, it's only when it's convenient for her to be shown there, that she appears there, and she only appeared there, after she was asked about the car that she had promised to them months before. She's the same way with Operation Smile - asking them to remove her from their 20th Anniversary program, only to be at the same event a year later, because she was suffering from not being on the cover of a magazine. You know, she may not smoke, but I've seen her bombed out of her mind on alcohol, and partying it up with the best of them. There's nothing wrong with that, but she's not a saint. I also don't remember glamourizing the other starlets like Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, etc.. I think Paris is just as fake as Jessica, but at least she's honest about it.

You have obviously chosen to believe that, rather than to believe as has been the case with other celebs that they and their party were simply sprung by the papparazzi. I believe that she has used a particular photo agency that she trust but only for official events like when promoting her line and so what if she has. If Jessica is fake for the reasons you state so is half the other celebs in the world who make decisions and steer their career in accordance with what they think might sell. You again you say by acting a ditz she 'furthers the myth' that women have to be that way' ????? I'm smart enough to see that that is simply an element of her character.That is her ..'End of story' If ppl want to read further into that that is their choice she can't be blamed for that and that would be really silly of them. You can also then spend a lifetime going through all the celebs and what they do and saying oh she/he is furthering the myth that....it's sexy to smoke, it's cool to sleep around,take drugs, have babies young, have a couple Dui.

I was just thinking the same, Tony is getting more attractive to me the more I see him! They are just so cute together..I hope they can make it last longer :). It makes me laugh to think of the newlyweds episode where she won the march madness bracket--see, she's known her stuff all along!

She said she was HURT when people dissed her so she tried to CHANGE now. And she has really changed. That's why she's less ditzy nowadays. Again, she's NOT proud of it. 2) The reason she agreed with a magazine coverage on her orphanage trip, was because she wanted the media focus to be on the ORPHANS, but unfortunately people focused more on the free car that she gave away. For those who do not know, she has been donating money to the same orphanage since 1999!! She could have contributed millions to them by now..but she didn't make a big deal out of it because she did it sincerely...That's why not many people know about this!

That's cool aubrey, I love the spurs I've met robert horey :drool: at the bmw dealership he was getting his car service he has a child with special needs like me I've also met bruce bowen tony parker tim duncan and eva by a far I wish I can meet ginobli ha ha, that's how you get points nyrina keep posting and I really didn't sit and chat we were sitting floor seats and shook their hand, I still love avery he was never going to be the head coach for the spurs so he took that opportunity

And the whole thing about donating to an orphanage...she has millions of dollars, she could've donated that car she won and given a little more.. Also, to Pink, I'm a loyal Spurs fan myself, and I just want to say I support you 100%. The only thing about the Mavs that I love is Avery Johnson. Angel Blue, she may not say that she is representing women all over the world, but when she furthers this myth that all women need to get ahead is a big rack without the smarts to back it up, it does a disservice to every woman who has the smarts, has the rack, and doesn't sell herself out for the first dollar she can. It continues this myth that women need to play a role of being ditzy to get ahead and that hurts everyone. That is if she's not the ditz she portrays herself to be. She may not be wearing lip stick (but she's wearing lip gloss, I would be willing to bet..) and she's got mascara on, plus foundation. She's wearing make-up, not a lot, and not as heavy as in the past, but she's not completely au natural. It's definitely a much better look for her, but whether she's a ditz as an act or a ditz in real life, I just don't care for her. And, from all appearances, she is fake. Who takes paparazzi to Mexico for a 45 minute photo session to an orphanage for publicity? She's not genuine at all. Further proof? She's constantly mugging for the camera, and her father and her call the cameras for the pictures and the stories to keep her relevant. They've even brokered with photographers, to get a piece of the profits from the selling of those photos, and when she's lucky enough NOT to be photographed by one of those individuals, but just some other paparazzi, she's as rude as she can be.

She is blatantly not wearing make up. No mascara or lippy. The most she has is fake tan and badly in need of a comb hair extensions. I actually think Jessica is one of the more sweeter genuine celebrities out there. She's harmless. I don't see that being ditzy is the worst thing in the world as long as she is not trying to represent women all over the world, she is just being herself and if she wasnt that is when it is fair to call her a fake.

I wanted to say something, that's going to probably get lost here.. I'm a fairly new "user", though I've been reading pop for a long time. I finally created an account to correct the assumption that John Mayer is some whacked out drug fiend who pops a Xanax for fun. (Reality? He has real anxiety issues.) I've, by far, seen more negative comments about celebrities, particularly celebrities that I like, than I have positive. There's a reason for that.. we react to that which we don't like, more than we act on the things we like. All of you are guilty of talking about one celebrity more than others, so bringing down a new member, is sort of a bad example for someone like me to see.. not that I think the personal attack comments to pink were warranted, but that you are skeptical of all new users really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. It's obvious that you care about this site and that you've all really tried to make it your own, but for some of us, we're more likely to comment on things we don't like, especially starting out on here. As for Jessica, I don't care for her. I think that if she is smarter than she appears, she does a great disservice to strong women everywhere by pretending to portray a ditz. I don't think she has a genuine bone in her body, and I feel more sorry for her than I do hatred. I also weep for those people that think she's not wearing make-up in those pictures.
