Joe Insults Taylor in "Much Better" — Unforgivable or Understandable?

The lyrics are a bit harsh IMO.

Joe Jonas is sour grapes! I think he still loves TayloR Swift and can't accept the split.

It would be one thing if he referenced their relationship metaphorically, or more subtle. By bringing up a line from one of her songs, he basically names her, and also seems to be picking on her a little!

I think it's pretty crappy of him, really. I also agree - some people will do anything to sell records and make money! When Taylor called him out on her video, it was not long after it had happened and she was angry - but it's been too long for him to write a song calling her out without sounding like a d*ck.

The lyrics are harsh. I think it would have been fair if the lyrics had been subtle because song writing is about personal experience but to be that harsh is unfair. At least her song wasn't actually nasty about him.

Rob Thomas is 5ft 9, this out of his own mouth..there is a pic of him standing next to the Jonas brothers and he is at least 2 to 3 inches taller than all of them...They are lying about being 5ft 10..come on, you can look at the shrimps and tell they are not tall people.

Well, if Joe did do the breaking up (which I think he did) I'd be pretty pissed too if I were Taylor. Especially if he moved right on with Camilla. I guess they like that they have matching eyebrows. Taylor is a better songwriter than any of the Jonas Brothers are, especially for her age. He's bitter and it shows. He could have been a bit more subtle.

That's pretty low of Joe, but it just proves how mature the Jonas boys can be in relationships. If I were Taylor, I'd be happy to be single rather than with Joe. He could have taken a different approach in the song, and I think it's a little childish, considering he did the breaking up.

Totally understandable. She drug his name through the mud, got a ton of girls to hate Camilla Belle for no reason other than the fact that Joe prefered her to Taylor. I am a HUGE Taylor fan but she COMPLETELY used her break up with Joe to sell records. She blabbed about him to anyone and everyone who would listen and pimped out her song about him, Forever and Always so that EVERYONE knew it was about him and thus wanted to hear it. Of course increasing her record sales. After her album came out, she stopped talking about it and said she wanted to "move on". Coincidence ? I think not. After the way she publicly humiliated and unprofessionally treated Joe it is completely understandable. I get it, he broke up with her for another girl and that hurts like crazy. But it's not like he cheated on her here. I understand why Joe did what he did.
