Later on, they had some company! Justin and Jennifer welcomed Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Jimmy Kimmel, and Molly McNearney to their suite. Emily and John cuddled on a lounge chair, while Jimmy and his wife, Molly, cracked jokes with Jen and Justin.

Jen and Justin arrived in Cabo on Sunday and have since taken to hanging poolside at their tropical resort. The New Year is just around the corner, though still no word on when Jen and Justin plan on tying the knot. John Krasinski and his wife, Emily Blunt, were in a happy mood when they grabbed food together in Beverly Hills yesterday. Those smiles may have been caused by the news that Emily was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. Emily commented on her nomination, saying, "I'm so incredibly thankful to the Hollywood Foreign Press for recognizing our little movie that could."

The nomination wasn't the only fun news for the couple. John dipped his toes in the social media waters earlier this week — John Krasinski joined Twitter! He launched the account to promote his new film, Promised Land. John had some initial troubles with Twitter, saying, "I have no idea what I'm doing — feel 182 years old — so I may need some help!"

Matt Damon hit the red carpet for the LA premiere of Promised Land last night. He had wife Luciana by his side, but also posed with costar and pal John Krasinski. It was their second event of the week after also promoting the project with a screening in NYC on Tuesday. The next day, Matt, Luciana, and their three youngest daughters traveled to the West Coast together. They've been going back and forth between both coasts since purchasing a home near the Garner-Afflecks in LA over the Summer. It looks like they'll be staying put for at least a few days since Matt has press interviews this weekend and is also scheduled to appear on The Tonight Show on Monday.

Matt Damon and his wife, Luciana, hit the red carpet last night in NYC for the premiere of his new movie Promised Land. He wrote, produced, and stars in the movie alongside collaborator John Krasinski, who posed for photos without his own spouse, Emily Blunt, who's been in England making All You Need Is Kill with Tom Cruise. Emily's sister Felicity Blunt was able to attend, though, with her husband, Stanley Tucci. Matt and John also celebrated the upcoming movie with costars Rosemarie DeWitt and her husband, Ron Livingston. On the carpet, John spoke about his strong friendship with Matt. He said, "I would love to have a bromance with him, but I don't even know if I could even use the word 'bromance' because he and Ben [Affleck] are so tight and like a married couple that I'll never get in there."

Matt and John said a few words before the screening, along with director Gus Van Sant. Gus said the premiere screening was "momentous" while Matt declared that there's "a little piece of our soul in this." Afterward, the gang retired to an afterparty at Loi. Matt and Luciana holed up in a banquette for a bit, along with their oldest daughter, Alexia. John, likewise, was surrounded by family to celebrate his big project.

Matt Damon and John Krasinski were together yesterday to chat up their new movie, Promised Land, at a special screening organized by Variety at NYC's Chelsea Clearview Cinemas. Promised Land arrives in theaters Dec. 28, in limited release, but Matt and John are getting their promotional push out of the way ahead of the holidays with interviews and press events scheduled for this week. Matt and John collaborated on the script and both star in the movie, which is based on a story of a salesman who tries to secure land for natural gas companies to extract gas through fracking. It's just one of many collaborations Matt has lined up with his friends. He and old friend Ben Affleck are reportedly working on another film about the Boston gangster Whitey Bulger.

The Gotham Independent Film Awards took place at NYC's Cipriani Wall Street last night, honoring stars in the movie industry including Matt Damon and Marion Cotillard. Matt arrived with wife Luciana Damon and posed on the red carpet with their pal John Krasinski and his spouse, Emily Blunt. John presented Matt with a Tribute award during the Euphoria Calvin Klein-sponsored show. From the stage, Matt said, "I have never taken this industry for granted and I never will . . . I'm truly blessed."

The best ensemble cast award went to Your Sister's Sister, and was picked up by director Mark Duplass and stars Emily Blunt and Rosemarie DeWitt. John Krasinski and a Calvin Klein-clad Emily Blunt met up with their friends Matt and Luciana Damon last night at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in NYC, held at Manhattan's Cipriani Wall Street. Not only are John and Matt close friends, but they've also teamed up for the forthcoming movie Promised Land. Also out for the show were Marion Cotillard, an Armani-wearing Amy Adams, and Calvin Klein model Lara Stone, who showed off her baby bump. Lara and her husband, UK comedian David Walliams, are expecting their first child together. Matt was honored at last night's event along with Marion Cotillard, who wore Christian Dior. She made the rounds with her Rust and Bone leading man, Matthias Schoenaerts. Winners at the Gotham Independent Film Awards included both Matt and Marion, who received accolades for their distinguished big-screen careers.
