Family man Johnny Depp told Oprah in 2004 that girlfriend Vanessa Paradis and their two children gave him life. But now, there's talk that the twosome's romantic life together has ended. People magazine is reporting that the couple of nearly 14 years have separated. The magazine's sources say Johnny and Vanessa are living "sad separate lives" and have all but broken up officially. The evidence? Johnny and Vanessa haven't hit a red carpet together in more than a year. Each star made several public appearances alone toward the end of 2011, and Johnny was without a date at Sunday's Golden Globe Awards. Nevertheless, it was just last August when they were spotted kissing on a yacht in the South of France and the family was all together just weeks ago on New Year's Eve in Hollywood. Since Johnny and Vanessa have always been pretty private about their relationship, it's difficult to decipher whether their recent stint of stepping out solo really means they've hit a rough patch or if they've just taken a break from sharing the spotlight. As recently as last May, there was speculation the two were planning to get married since Vanessa had been stepping out with what looked like an engagement ring on her left hand.
