Joshua Jackson was in good spirits on the set of Fringe yesterday, despite the chilly Vancouver weather. Josh combatted the cold by layering up as they filmed in the downtown area. Between takes, he enjoyed the company of soccer player and Olympic bronze medalist Karina LeBlanc. The Canadian athlete lent her medal to Josh, who continued his playful mood by striking poses with her prized possession.

Fringe is partially through its fifth, and final, season on Fox. Last week, the network announced Fringe's series finale will be a two-hour event airing Jan. 18. With the show's impending conclusion, Josh will have plenty of time to spend with his girlfriend, Diane Kruger, and possibly his old Dawson's Creek friend Katie Holmes, who he reconnected with in September.
