Julia Follows In George's Award Winning Footsteps

Julia, Danny and their new bundle of joy, Henry Daniel took a stroll around NYC yesterday afternoon. Danny's been rocking the beard for a while now, but these days he's looking full-on Wolfman with that thing. There's more good news for Julia -- she's been chosen to receive the 22nd American Cinematheque Award. Last year the honor went to Julia's Ocean's costar George Clooney, and Roberts was even there to help roast her friend. Hopefully this year George will be there to return the favor during the October 12 ceremony.

I see her in these pictures and she looks ordinary - but I watched Pretty Woman for the first time in years on the weekend and she just GLOWED. She has a charm that makes her beautiful.

Can't stand her. She was sooooooooooo mean to Danny Moder's first wife. I mean incredibly cruel. I lost all respect for her then. I have to say that I am surprised that people still like her and hate Jolie seeing as Roberts record is sooo much worse: ran off with fiancees best friend days before wedding,jumped from one costar to another, cheated on Lyle Lovett, cheated on Benjamin Bratt with Moder and then proceeded to humiliate his wife.

In light of Lindsay's second arrest, I actually found myself thinking that Julia had played the Hollywood game rather well. Don't know if you all remember that she was once nicknamed the "wild child," dated numerous men, broke up relationships, lived a life under intense scrutiny and basically provided a lot of tabloid fodder. But she somehow managed to keep her career together, forced her hand to pull down mega bucks like the boys, won her Oscar, got a chance to act on Broadway and now seems fairly content to live a much earthier life away from Hollywood.

The beard looks pretty tame to me. My husband's been growing his since October, and it's now to the point that he can do 3 inch braids on each side. My sweetie looks like a Viking, though, not Wolfman.
