The actress arrived wearing Dolce & Gabbana for the Golden Globes in LA on Sunday and showed off her infamous smile as she posed for photos. Julia was nominated for best supporting actress for her performance in August: Osage County, but Jennifer Lawrence [2] ultimately won in the competitive category. Julia's costar Meryl Streep [3] can still score gold for their movie this evening with her nomination in the best actress category.

Julia has been staying busy with her award-season prep, including a night out at the Palm Springs Film Festival last week. She hit the stage twice — first to accept the spotlight award for her work on August: Osage County and later to present Tom Hanks [4] with the chairman's award for his performances in Captain Phillips and Saving Mr. Banks, resulting in some pretty hilarious jokes [5] at Julia's expense.
