Julianne Hough With Brown Hair Filming Safe Haven Pictures

Julianne Hough reported to the set of Safe Haven in Wilmington, NC, today. She stepped out in a bold blue dress, though all eyes were on her noticeably darker hair color. Julianne was a platinum blond in Rock of Ages, but this time around she's trying out an auburn hue for her latest role. The film, based on Nicholas Sparks's best-selling novel, pairs Julianne on the big screen with Josh Duhamel. According to Julianne, she's been a longtime fan of Sparks's work and has a soft spot in her heart for A Walk to Remember. Julianne recently told us she'll be shooting on location for most of the Summer, so that won't leave much time to visit boyfriend Ryan Seacrest while he's covering the Summer Olympics in London.
