Julianne Hough Interview For Rock of Ages

Julianne Hough is the leading lady in director Adam Shankman's big-screen adaptation of the musical Rock of Ages, which hits theaters June 15. We visited with Julianne on the Miami set back in August, when she was in the middle of shooting the story of Sherrie, a small-town girl who arrives in LA with stars in her eyes. She plays opposite Diego Boneta and a roster of big names like Tom Cruise, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Alec Baldwin, and Russell Brand. In one scene, Julianne even has to give Tom, who plays rock star Stacee Jaxx, a lap dance. That didn't faze Julianne, but she did pause when having to don some '80s high fashion and discover an era-appropriate workout.
