Will Jumper Be Rachel's Big Break?
We are so excited that Rachel Bilson will be hitting the big screen again next month in Jumper. It's been way too long since we've had our Summer Roberts fix and her two episode stint on Chuck was a tease. Only time will tell how the movie fares with the critics and at the box office, but the film's director is already singing Rachel's praises. So tell us: Will Jumper be Rachel's big break into the film industry?

3I don't think the movie looks very good, and I'm sitting here thinking, "How great can she be in this role as 'the girlfiend'?" I generally like to give the benefit of the doubt, so I'd like to see her in a few more roles before I say anything about big breaks and acting chops.

5I seriously don't think this movie is as *big* as some think. Add that with the fact that it doesn't look all that great, I'm guessing PopSugar's Rachel-mania isn't going to expand all over the world with this one.
6they filmed part of this movie in my town, Ann Arbor, Michigan! i few of my friends were extras in it. none of the big stars came, only the kids from the movie (some of them are kinda famous i guess). It was pretty cool. I'll definitely check out the movie for the scenes with my friends, but i'm not sure that the movie is going to be all that great.
7I'm hoping Jumper will be a hit for Hayden cause I love him since AOTC. I am yet to become a fan of hers.
8i think shes adorable and i love everything she wears and she seems sweet but i dont think she is a great actress. she can be enjoyable at times but i don't think she'll ever make the transition to A-list. That list should be for the really incredible actors of our time.
9I live in Ann Arbor, MI too!!! but I never knew they filmed here at all. I will check it out now but only for that reason.
10Jumper has great potential for success. Looks like a great flick, but she's an ancillary character not the star. I don't see how this is her vehicle to stardom.

16February is a dumping ground for crappy movies. How people continue to speculate that it might be even halfway decent is beyond me. This movie will not be enough to be her big break. She will need a strong a year, not just a strong start.

20it might be - i'm not sure that i get the premise of the movie and i saw the trailer last night. i think that it's worth a shot - we'll see. i think that it'll take her a bit to be as top notch as a lot of other hollywood starlets...but she's definitely coming into her own

Maybe but I doubt it. I really wish it would though because she's so cute and normal.
24I'm looking forward to "Jumper" actually, and while I am not a fan of Rachel Bilson, I don't think she's a BAD actress, I actually think she has the potential to do a wonderful, understated job in this role. I just don't think she'll be an A lister, but I do think she could work the indies well. She's not objectional onscreen in the least, just WAYYYY too overrated for this time in her career.

27Love Rachel for her style but from the Jumper trailer she acts the same as she has in everything else (OC, Chuck & The Last Kiss. Just no range of talent there, sorry but wish her & Hayden (LOVE HIM) good luck with Jumper hope it is a big hit for them.
28Jumper could be good (I loved the Bourne Trilogy) or it could be crappy. I don't think she has had a huge variety of roles, and I don't know that this will be a breakout role for her, but she has to start somewhere, and hopefully this will help. Obviously Pop loves her, but I don't think they are alone, I want to see her succeed too! Even my boyfriend, who saw her on Chuck was like..."who IS that girl?" and he generally doesn't notice or care about actors that much. Not that her role was that amazing...but she is cute!
29popsugar and molly are really forcing it down our throats the idea of "Rbils," as they endearingly call her, to be as this amazingggggggg actress who just needs a big break to make it in the industry.
whateve...i have natalie portman to fill the hole of a petite-border lining-a-12-year-old-body-with-limited-acting-range-and-expression-but-is-aww-shucks-so-cute-and-pretty in movies.
so thank you so much rachel for gracing our tv screens for several years, but no, being the beard to Hayden on and off-screen won't give you your so-called big break. but apparently playing one of the main characters in the "hit, phenomenon The OC" was obviously not enough. so no ma'am, why don't you just serve me my coffee in Starbucks the next time i'm there.

40i saw the preview for jumper yesterday and it looks awesome! i think it will bump her up on the popularity scale, sort of like shia, but probably not make her a-list.

45Yeah as I said I honestly think she will need some bigger and better roles before she becomes more known for her acting....however I do agree with some of the others who say she is better known for her fashion. She really has her hands on the fashion world in my opinion.
