It's been a wild few weeks for Justin Bieber. Things took a turn last Thursday when he was arrested for drag racing and suspicion of DUI. Justin was taken into custody and charged with DUI, resisting arrest, and driving with an expired license and was let out on $2,500 bail. The scandal set the Internet ablaze with memes, tweets, and reactions to the news [2] — we even got nostalgic for the old Justin [3]. The buzz didn't quiet down when Justin was arrested for a second time when he turned himself in to faces assault charges in Toronto on Wednesday. Jan. 22
- Justin hopped on a Segway [4] and hit the beach with his dad, Jeremy, and pal Khalil Sharieff.
- That night, Justin showed up shirtless [5] at a club with friends, including model Chantel Jeffries.
- Khalil shared pictures [6] of Justin in a rented yellow Lamborghini on Instagram but later deleted them.

Jan. 23
- Justin was arrested around 4 a.m., and the Internet went wild when his mug shot was released [8]. Justin had a court hearing, where he was charged and then let out on bail.
- After Justin left jail on top of an SUV [9], his dad, Jeremy, (wearing a gray sweatsuit in the photo above) met with lawyers outside Miami's Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
- Later, Justin reportedly refused to board a private jet to fly back to LA, where his management team was waiting. They are apparently urging him to get help by going to rehab or psychotherapy [10].

Jan. 24
- Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, finally commented on the arrest [13] in a series of tweets, saying, "Been a long day. Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity. Be there when it counts."
- Justin's dad, Jeremy, followed up with tweets [14] of his own, writing, "I can protect my kids, but I can't protect them from you and your lies. Believe in the truth not in the lies of the enemy."
- Jeremy may have been alluding to new reports that Justin actually had almost no alcohol in his system [15] at the time of the arrest.

- Justin broke his social media silence when he posted a photo of himself side by side with a photo of Michael Jackson [17] on Instagram with the caption "What more can they say?"
- Soon after posting the picture on Instagram, Justin tweeted [18], "YOU ARE ALL WORTHY NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE SAYS >> BE STRONG GOD IS WITH US ALL> MY BELIEBERS CHANGED MY LIFE> I WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL."

- Justin popped up in Panama [21] following his arrest, and he was joined by his manager, Scooter Braun, Usher [22], and Chantel Jeffries.
- Justin spent nearly a week in Panama, where he shot what looked like an emotional music video [23] and hung out with his friends, including Chantel.

Jan. 29
- Justin wrapped up his Panama trip and headed to Toronto, where he turned himself in for criminal assault charges [25] that stemmed from a December incident involving a limo driver. Justin was mobbed by fans when he left the police station after being released on his own recognizance.
- Meanwhile, Justin's lawyer in Miami filed a not guilty plea in response to his charges from Jan. 23.
Jan. 30
- While Justin pleaded not guilty, the toxicology report [26] that was released by the Miami Police Department shows that he had weed and prescription pills (specifically, Xanax) in his system when he was arrested. Justin had admitted to smoking pot before he went behind the wheel.
