Kanye Jumps Up on Stage, Disses Taylor For Beyonce

Kanye made a total scene to kick off the VMAs. The first award of the night was Best Female Video, presented by Taylor Lautner and Shakira. Taylor Swift won and right as she started to give her acceptance speech, Kanye West jumped on stage, grabbed the mic from her hand, and started ranting. He said the Moonman should have gone to Beyonce for "Single Ladies," leaving the crowd — including Beyonce herself — looking quite shocked. He was booed immediately. Maybe he shouldn't have been drinking his way down the red carpet?

We all make mistakes, don't act as if you've never made a mistake in your life before, how would you feel if you ever made a mistake and no one will ever want to forgive you? Try to picture yourself in Kanye's shoes. MTV is wrong also, the reason why Taylor won is because they tried to make it fair to all the artist. Which artist left with more than one award? In my opinion i think Single Ladies is the most popular video in this decade, almost everyone dances to the video. Lady Gaga's poker face, on the other hand is also as popular as Beyonce's video. We all thought either one of them were gonna win. Taylor looked quite shocked when she won and she said it herself that there was no chance of winning but when she won, i was happy for her and even excited. Everyone had different opinions in that hall and Kanye managed to raise up his thoughts. It was rude and immature, and it was not racism! But guys he regrets what he did and apologized. Taylor forgave him. Beyonce won the powerful award 'Video Of The Year' it just proves how single ladies is the best video of all time, she gave up her acceptance speech and yeah it's done. So it's either you forgive Kanye or you don't but imagine if you were in his shoes. Good things happen to those who forgive. He made a mistake and obviously he won't do it again so enough with the critics and insults.

This is merely an outgrowth of society at large. Everyone thinks they DESERVE respect just for living and breathing. And when they have money, it's even worse. So called "ghetto" and "street" [artists] forget where they came from if they EVER did come from the streets. Where are manners? Respect is earned by having and demonstrating character, empathy, kindness, loyalty, leadership and dependability with GOOD judgement.
Kanye West don't like white people (as I squeeze out a Kanye-like tear). Racism goes two ways Kanye. If a white artist had done that to am African-American winner, Kanye and Al Sharpton would be having a cow about the racial injustice.
That is totally rude and why is that award shows these days have rude host that just show that they can't find anyone that will host the show that has more class.
i dont like taylor and i dont think she deserved to won. after all how long has she been out compare to beyonce? was she even good enough to compare to lady gaga and beyonce? and if behind the scene, beyonce give that award up just to encourage taylor then it may more sense. Although i do not agree to what kanye did and here goes another battle? but, seemingly to me that taylor might as well let it go.

I totally agree that Kayne should be banned from all award shows. He is nothing but a spoiled brat and needs to get a life. He also needs to grow up and stop acting like a sore loser. I am sure he would have had a fit if someone did that to him. As for him apologizing to Taylor I don't ever see it happening because he is all about himself and he thinks the world revolves around him but he is sadly mistaken. He is so into himself and doesn't care who he hurts. I believe he did this because his ego is so big he just had to make it all about him. I don't know why hwe has sucha big ego because he ain't all that and his music sucks. Total LOSER!!!!!!!!!!

People should BOYCOTT Kanye West's albums from here on forth. He's always been an asshole but humiliating a teen in front of the world was totally classless. It was so strange because right before the show started my husband said "Is Kayne even nominated this year?" (he was just curious, we both hate him) and I said "Why does it matter? He will go up on stage regardless and say something stupid." Even having said that, I was still shocked and disgusted when it actually happened. He is a P.O.S.

I love Taylor Swift, she's just such a cute and down to earth girl plus an excellent singer. Normally, I don't like Beyonce but I thought she was very gracious by allowing Taylor to have her moment at the end. As for Kanye West, I like his music but I can't stand him. He's an idiotic, classless assh0le - hope he gets his.
Appalling. I can't believe the level of disrespect Kanye showed towards Taylor and really, the whole event itself. I am not a fan of Taylor's music. But, I truly feel awful for her. Kanye should be ashamed of himself...and perhaps consider checking into rehab if it really was the alcohol to blame.
