Kanye Needs A Nap, Now With Video

It's the day of reckoning in the Great(ish) Kanye vs. 50 Cent debate of 2007 - which album are you running to the store to buy (I know, I know, Kenny Chesney)? I've always been a bigger fan of Kanye, but his recent antics are a little off putting. When I heard that he had a bit of a tantrum after losing out at the VMAs, swearing off MTV forever, I really honestly didn't think it was this bad. But here is the video (or mostly audio). Can I blame it on drinking? I don't want to think he's such a baby. Sigh, he may not have any Moonmen but at least he has an awesome home.

You're just trying to get me to think about what I say? How is it wrong for me to express my opinion that rap music is crap? I'm sure I'm not the only one with that opinion. And, yes I have listened to rap music before. Did you attend school? If you got passed 2nd grade, you should know that an opinion is not a fact, it is someone's personal view. Quit acting like my opinion offended you. If you like rap, nothing should offend you. Main point, if he doesn't like his competition at MTV, go to BET. It was created for that genre, as MTV was originally created for Rock n Roll. Maybe MTV would play more videos if the majority of the ones they receive aren't full of female objectification...

nobody's forcing you to buy his album all i was saying is just cuz anybody doesn't like a certain genre of music, doesn't mean it isn't credible. he's selling more records than 50 cent. and last i heard, even kenny chesney is selling more than 50 cent. and i was mostly referring to the people earlier saying hiphop is all about violence and disrespecting women. geeeez. it wasn't like a personal attack on certain users, i was just saying its ignorant for anybody to call a certain genre "talentless", just cuz they don't listen to it. YES, he was making a big deal out of nothing (with the tantrum and all) @ the mtv awards, but look now - he's laughing his way to the bank lol, regardless.

i love how people that say he's a baby or whatever, aren't even his demographic. he's not making music to please everybody, he's making music for himself and for his fans. just cuz u dont like his attitude doesn't mean he's talent-less or whatever u wanna call it. obviously he overreacted but at least he's not gonna shut up about it, at least he's standing up for what he believes in, and most can agree that MTV today is all reality (hell even timberlake said "play more videos"). anyway it just means you have a different taste in music but u cant deny he's talented and CAN sell records.

I do love the song stronger I have to admit. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, lots of people were mad brit was opening. Timberland was mad, lots of people thought they deserved the opening act. Kanye just needs to know when to shut his mouth though. However, he's always controversial so I dont think he cares.

Bottom line, Kanye's album is really great MUSICALLY and INSTRUMENTALLY...I would LOVE IT if he weren't rapping on it. It's too much...50's album is actually really good, his raps are solid, Dre's producing and beats TOTALLY come out and it's so clear that he still has it...Kenny Chesney is a piece of TRASH...RIHANNA LOOKS AMAZING!!!! END OF STORY.

Even if he did deserve to win, that's just ridiculous behavior for a grown man. If you're that upset, just leave. Don't throw a tantrum like a two year old. I certainly won't be giving any of my money to the spoiled egomaniac.
