Kate Hudson Talks Balancing Motherhood and Preps For a New Movie

Kate Hudson dropped by Good Morning America in NYC today to discuss The Reluctant Fundamentalist. She admitted that she had a "late night" after staying up past midnight for her movie's Tribeca Film Festival premiere yesterday.

During her interview, Kate shared that she started production on the film just two months after giving birth to Bing. She said, "I was breastfeeding and bawling my eyes out. It was a very emotional character. But [director] Mira [Nair] was amazing. To work with a female director at a time like that, I mean, she was rubbing my feet. Only she could get me to do that at that time." In our interview with Kate Hudson yesterday, she also touched on working so soon after giving birth, saying that playing the complicated character left her "exhausted." Her schedule isn't showing any signs of slowing down as she will start production on Good People, her new film with James Franco, in London in May.
