Kate Middleton has chosen her charities! The Duchess of Cambridge has accepted honorary positions with a handful of organizations that all relate to the royal's interests, making her the perfect patron. First of all, becoming a patron of the East Aglia's Chidlren's Hospices as well as Action on Addiction will allow Kate to follow in Princess Diana's footsteps of helping young people and tackling worldly issues. Plus, she was once a Brownie, so she'll know the ropes when it comes to being a volunteer leader with the Beaver and Cub Scouts. And finally, her art history degree will come in handy for her roles with The National Portrait Gallery and The Art Room, which helps children boost their self-esteem through art. Now that the charities have been named, Kate's next step will be visiting the organizations over the next several months. But first, the Duchess will celebrate her 30th birthday on Monday. Reports say she'll attend the London premiere of War Horse with William on Sunday, followed by a party allegedly planned by sister Pippa and Prince Harry.
