Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we have your look at the London premiere for War Horse as Kate Middleton and Prince William make their big arrival! It's in today's PopSugar Rush. London rolled out the red carpet for Prince William and Kate Middleton last night! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a rainy UK premiere for War Horse, where William held an umbrella for his wife who was wearing a gorgeous black lace Alice Temperely gown. Once inside, the couple mingled with the film's cast and military personnel who were in attendance, and needless to say, everyone was feeling a little starstruck — even the movie's director Steven Spielberg. STEVEN SPIELBERG: "They represent an entire new era of British royalty, and it's exciting to be a part of it." PopSugar editor Annie Scudder is here with more on the evening. War Horse is definitely a tear-jerker, and supposedly even Kate got a little emotional during the screening. Steven gave an interview to BBC Breakfast this morning, where he revealed that his wife had to pass the Duchess a tissue during the premiere to help hold back a few tears. The evening helped benefit the Foundation of William and Harry, and Kate has another busy day ahead of her as well — it's her 30th birthday! Kate will reportedly celebrate with family and friends later tonight, and we wish her all the best as she turns the big 3-0.
