Prince William and Kate Middleton braved the rain this morning to visit the Darwen Aldridge Community Academy in Northwestern England. It's the couple's latest public appearance following William's solo trip to New Zealand, where he met with people affected by the recent earthquake. He arrived back in time for both he and Kate to separate for their respective stag and hen parties in the run up to their big wedding on April 29. Today's stop was to launch the SkillForce Prince's Award, which honors students making special contributions to their community. Kate also passed out a medal to a youngster, who won a race on an outdoor track, and affectionately gave him a pat on the shoulder and a handshake. The appearance is apparently one of the last they'll do before becoming husband and wife, and Kate stepped out for the occasion in her latest chic suit. She picked a blue number, similar to the red getup she wore to christen a boat last month in Wales, but we're most excited to see what she decides to don on her big day.
