Kate Middleton made a pit stop at McDonald's during a reported road trip to Kensington Palace with her son, Prince George. She was also accompanied by a very special helper, William's former nanny, Jessie Webb, who has reportedly come out of retirement  to lend an extra hand in helping with the little prince. It is unclear whether Kate, who was behind the wheel for the journey, fueled up on food or simply stopped for a rest during the roadside break. Kate and her newborn son were without Prince William, who was busy tending to business with his brother, Prince Harry, today in London. William and Harry attended the funeral of their father's best friend , Hugh van Cutsem, before heading to the charity event with BGC Partners to honor the victims during the attacks on Sept. 11.
Kate and Prince George headed to Kensington Palace as it was announced that William has officially retired from his duties as a RAF search and rescue pilot. The family will now have more time to spend together in London, and William and Kate are already set to be reunited tomorrow night as the guests of honor at the inaugural Tusk Conservation Awards, where William will reportedly make a speech.
