Kate Puts On Her Serious Directing Face

Kate Hudson is hard at work in Pasadena on the set of her directorial debut, a short film based on a reader-submitted essay for Glamour, but unlike many first time directors making shorts, she's got some serious star power in her hands. I guess it doesn't hurt to know people in Hollywood. Her movie stars her surrogate dad Kurt Russell, the surprisingly older looking (she's growing up!) Dakota Fanning and Virginia Madsen. It must feel weird for Kate to be the boss for a change, especially to the man who raised her. Hey, she definitely looks cute doing it.

I can't believe how much older Dakota looks! She has always been such a cutie! It would be so hard to go through your "awkward phase" in front of the whole world, and have people talking about how "puberty is really taking a toll on her looks". I hope that she doesn't let crap like that make her feel bad or get her down. Especially since she has millions of dollars, and I am pretty sure that anyone saying that crap about her probably does not, and also is probably ugly anyway. Yay for Dakota! I have never been a huge fan of Kate Hudson though. I do hope the movie turns out well for her though.
