Kate Walsh's Down Time Is a Good Thing

Kate Walsh had a crazy 2007 with her own spin off, a wedding and turning 40 so now it's time to catch her breath. She spent the day running errands with her mother who looked like she could care less about the cameras following them around. Kate's able to relax more these days thanks to the ongoing writers' strike. She was probably hoping to get all dressed up for the Golden Globes, but it looks like that might not be happening either. We have to admit this break from Kate has been good for us as well.

Am I missing something? The outfit is appropriate. She is reaching 40 and still can look that good, more power to her! Give me a break! I miss PP so I'll take what I can get!

I like Kate. I just worry about her hair. Or anyone who dyes their hair too much. I know from experience it's not a good thing. Even if it's done professionally. I'm sure Kate is a fine human being. If we are gonna rag on someone...it should be one of the well-deserving looney toons who are the tab stars right now. We know who they are.. Tara..Britney.. Paris..Lindsey

I think her hair is gonna fall off if she keeps dying it red. I think she is a natural blonde. Also, same with Megan Fox. She is a blonde, too. Continual dying of your hair, especially dark, will cause it to thin and fall over time. They gotta be careful.

There is nothing wrong with the way she is dressed. Who places markers on age. I mean, I could see if she were wearing a schoolgirl outfit or something. But boots and tights? A lot of older women wear boots. It's fine. This is like saying women over 40 shouldn't wear long hair. She looks fine for her AGE!

I must be the only one who doesn't think she looks that great. I always feel that with the amount of money she makes her hair and clothing could look MUCH better. And maggiemaei, simmer down, you're taking this a little too seriously.

Can I ask what your problem is with Kate Walsh? Is is because she was given the spinoff?You realize she has worked hard in Hollywood for almost 20 years-she has earned this time. Is it because she is seen out and about a lot? Most of the time she is doing daily tasks-would you like her more if she hired an assistant to do everything? Is it because she married a guy who seems decent with a good job to match? Would you like her more if her husband had a criminal record and whose life goal seems to be sponging off of her? I really don't get what your problem is with Kate because I have a relation who works in entertainment(mostly with the GA cast including Kate)This person has said if anyone derserves success it is Kate.Kate is a doll.She is lovely. All of you negative people need to get over yourself. I really don't get the nasty comments about her outfit. It is very age appropriate and stylish for winter. I teach fifteen year old students and I do not think any of them would wear an outfit like Kate's. And to the poster who said Kate seems selfcentered-I promise you this, Kate is the exact opposite of someone who self-centered.Kate remembers the people who helped her and supported her and got her where she is today. Personally, I could never have too much Kate, but then I guess I'm just a sucker for hard-working, down to earth, funny, and sweet people every time.
