Kate's Daughter Discovers the M.A.C. Counter

Kate and her hot husband Len Wiseman got some last minute shopping done this weekend with her daughter Lily in Beverly Hills. They'd look like the perfect Hollywood family except for the fact that Lily has on quite a lot of make-up! Little girls love make-up but it looks so unnatural on their cute little faces. Mom was probably in a festive mood. It's so hard to say no to kids around Xmas!

Looks like they were letting her have a little fun. I think it's harmless as long as it's not an everyday thing.

They were probably at the makeup counter and Lily wanted makeup, so they did something over the top and fun and it was completely harmless, like when my best friend's kid wanted to go to school dressed as a princess and Monica gave in and finally let her. No harm, no foul, and the kid had a blast.

I think it's probably just some fun. She doesn't go out in the make-up all the time. But it looks kind of freaky having a little girl so made up.

I reckon if there were a number of pics of her daughter with heaps of makeup on, then there'd be something to be concerned about. My first thought when I saw it was that when Lily sees it when she's grown up she's going to be so embarrassed. If I were Len and Kate, I'd get my hands on a copy of the picture and save it for her 21st!

Oh I remember being her age and wanting to wear my mom's makeup so badly, I grabbed the first thing on the counter and tried to put it on my lips, about a pint of blood and a few stitches later I learned my lesson, I had taken my mom's Bic razor to my lips not knowing what I was doing. Ek, let's hope now I have more sense. She looks like she busted into an 80's makeup bag with the greenish blue shadow and red lips lol.

I used to have a box of play make up that my mom let me put on...I used to be SO BAD at it! It was a good time, and it really instilled in me that make-up is "playtime", and not something that you should use as a crutch to accept yourself. Sadly, I think a lot of women have a hard time loving themselves sans make-up. I think it is fine, once in a while. I mean, you don't see her daughter looking like this all the time, and Kate has a really clean face in these pictures. Looks like harmless holiday fun to me.

I like Kate! She's beautiful and looks so smart. But make-up for kid... I don't know. It's no good for baby sensitive skin. I remember my daughter used to wear lipsticks when she's 4 or 5 years old. Every kids wants to do that, right? haha!

natural colored make-up would have been better. maybe a nude lipgloss or something.

...it looks ridiculous. the child's made-up heavily. no makeup or suggestive clothing on children...

Wearing makeup for dress up at home is one thing but I dont think I would let my 6 year old out on the street with bright red lipstick ( even though she would love it :) ) Seems a little inapproriate......
