Hi there, I'm Lauren Bradshaw, and we're bringing you a look at Katie Holmes's very busy birthday weekend in New York City with husband Tom Cruise and daughter Suri in today's PopSugar Rush. It was a whirlwind weekend for Katie Holmes! Katie turned 33 yesterday, and to celebrate, she spent three days out in NYC with Suri and Tom, who made sure that his wife's big day was very special. TOM: "Thank you very much." Tom has been overseas promoting Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol for the past couple weeks, but he touched down in Manhattan on Thursday to kick off Katie's birthday festivities. The couple's fun-filled agenda included a trip to a local dance studio on Friday, a performance by the Radio City Rockettes on Saturday, and dinner at trendy restaurant Buddakan on Sunday with Katie's parents who flew in just for the occasion. But it seems the family has something else to celebrate as well! Tom's film Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol opened in IMAX over the weekend, bringing in $13 million in just 425 theaters. The movie opens wide later this week, and Tom will be on hand for the New York premiere tonight — hopefully with Katie right by his side.
