Katie Holmes sprung forward yesterday at a lunch for Ann Taylor held in the penthouse of LA's Chateau Marmont. Katie was named as the face of the brand a few months ago, and she appears in the Spring 2011 ads. Her deal with the retailer was the latest in a string of endorsements — she's also working with John Frieda and has teamed up with Valextra. Katie, of course, is most dedicated to her own label, Holmes & Yang, which she spent a good portion of March showing off with trunk shows in NYC and the West Coast. Katie has lately been spending lots of time with newly 5-year-old daughter Suri and husband Tom Cruise, who just picked up a new part as a scandal-prone politician. First, though, Tom is playing the role of an honoree, as he's accepting an honor from the anti-Nazi group organization, the Simon Wiesenthal Center Museum of Tolerance on May 5.
