Katie Holmes Suri Cruise Ice Cream Pictures

Katie Holmes paired a semisheer shirt with her favorite necklace, bearing the letter S for her daughter, Suri, yesterday in NYC. She and Suri headed out for dinner, and later grabbed ice cream before calling it a night. Katie's back in the US again after a trip last week to China, where she made multiple promotional appearances for Artistry on Ice. She was busy with photo ops and press events, and her husband, Tom Cruise, was similarly engaged. Tom premiered Rock of Ages in London and LA, and made a stop in the Big Apple to pick up an award from the Friars Club.

Tom also fit in some time on the set of his latest picture, Oblivion. He's in the South now working on the thriller, and even got to play real-life hero. Tom offered his private jet to a crew worker who was injured in an accident! Likewise, Katie's been required at the production site of her own movie. Katie's working on The Seagull, a big-screen adaptation of the Chekhov play, and has been seen alongside her costars in rural Connecticut.
