Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Kiss on the Subway | Pictures

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise held hands while out shopping in NYC yesterday. The girls headed back to their Manhattan apartment afterward, looking tired as they sat on the subway. Katie had Suri on her lap for the trip on the crowded train, and even gave her daughter a sweet kiss on the head.

Katie and Suri were able to hang out during one of Katie's breaks from work on her Broadway show, Dead Accounts. To promote the show, Katie went on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon last week and also did an interview in the December issue of Vogue. Katie spoke to the magazine about her cooking skills — or lack thereof, rather — saying, "Just me in the kitchen is a comedy. But it's heartbreaking for me going through it . . . for others, they probably think it's really funny, because all the pans are out, and I get frustrated, and suddenly it's burning."
