Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Leave NYC Apartment

Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise were colorful when they left their NYC home today. Suri had a wet head, and meandered over to a car with her Hello Kitty bag in hand. The girls are at the end of a big week in NYC that included plenty of mother-daughter outings. Dad Tom Cruise missed out on the fun, though, since he's off shooting Oblivion abroad. He and director Joseph Kosinski were seen shooting scenes for the apocalyptic sci-fi film on a mountain in Iceland yesterday. Oblivion is currently taking up Tom's attention after he worked on Jack Reacher earlier this year. Yesterday, fans got a first look at Tom Cruise as Jack Reacher in the movie, which could be the beginning of a new franchise for Tom since it's based on a book series.
