Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise stopped by a Shake Shack in NYC yesterday after Suri finished her day at school. Suri bundled up in a faux-fur coat for the outing, while Katie kept things casual in a military jacket and ballet flats.

Katie's latest run on Broadway ended earlier this month. Dead Accounts closed sooner than projected after slow ticket sales. Katie's forging ahead, however, with several other fashion and beauty projects during her break from the stage and screen. Her line, Holmes & Yang, won't show at New York Fashion Week next month, but on the beauty front, she's featured in new ads for Alterna. Katie won't only be modeling for Alterna, but will also serve as a consultant on the hair care line's product range.
