Katie Holmes had a multigenerational spa outing in NYC Saturday. Along with her daughter, Suri Cruise, and mom, Kathleen Holmes, Katie spent time during the afternoon at the i-Plaza Nail & Spa salon in Manhattan's Tribeca neighborhood. Katie and her daughter, Suri, got pedicures along with grandma Kathleen, and Suri apparently stayed entertained during the session with her iPad.

It was a special outing for little Suri, who celebrated her seventh birthday last week. Suri was able to celebrate with both her mother and father. Her dad, Tom Cruise, wished her well by spending time with her in NYC as his Oblivion press tour took him through the city — his hard work promoting the picture helped earn it the No. 1 box office spot over the weekend. In one interview, Tom gave some insight as to how he and Suri marked her special day. Tom told Ryan Seacrest, "I take care of the kids early. You'll know, you have to plan ahead for these things. It's all done and all celebrated." As for whether or not trim Tom indulges in Suri's birthday goodies, Tom added, "I'll eat cake, cupcakes. I eat all that stuff.”

Spike joined Katie on set, where she is reportedly portraying a manic-depressive poet who falls in love with a rapper played by Luke Kirby. Katie found herself back in the news earlier this week after reports surfaced that her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, had opened up about their divorce during an interview on a German TV show. According to the rumors that originated from a German magazine, Tom said he "didn't expect" his divorce from Katie and said that life was "tragicomic." However, his rep came out yesterday to announce that Tom never spoke about his relationship with Katie and that the quotes were completely fabricated.

Katie Holmes got swept up in the blustery NYC weather when she stepped out to run errands yesterday. She later decided to wisely tie her hair back for a gym trip today. Katie didn't have Suri Cruise by her side for either of her outings this week, but she did keep her daughter close when they spent Easter together at the Four Seasons on Sunday. Suri is now back in school following a short Spring break ahead of the holiday. Katie Holmes was also in attendance after returning to the Big Apple from a Spring break trip to Disney World with Suri.
