It was just last year that Katy Perry took the Grammys stage to sing "Not Like the Movies," with wedding footage of her and Russell Brand in the background . . . Katy Perry: "Just like the movies, that's how it would be . . . " But last night, we saw a very different Katy as she stepped out to sing about her recent divorce. PopSugar editor Annie Scudder is here with more. * Katy and Russell had only been married a few months when she performed last year, and we got a really sweet peek at their intimate ceremony * Signed their divorce papers just last week * Katy took stage to perform new song "Part of Me" * Many people wondering if it's her way of getting back at Russell "So you can keep the diamond ring, it don't mean nothing anyway. Lyrics supposedly not the original ones; she swapped them for Grammy performance, so seems like it's definitely about Russell But don't worry too much about Katy. When we spoke to her friend and collaborator Bonnie McKee on last night's carpet, she told us the singer is doing just fine. BONNIE MCKEE: She's absolutely fine. Everything works out the way it's supposed to, and she's strong, and she's better than ever. Nothing's gonna take her down.
